Medal of Valor

Awarded to individuals who perform extraordinary acts or bravery and heroism in the line of duty, at risk of their own life.

Police Star

Awarded to Officers who demonstrate exceptional judgement and utilizing skillful tactics to defuse a dangerous situation on the field.

Medal of the Life Saver

The medal is usually awarded to Officers who take action in the rescue of a fellow Officer or someone in serious danger.

Medal of the Experienced Officer

Awarded to Officers who have served within VCPD for the duration of one year.

Medal of the Veteran Officer

Awarded to Officers who have served within VCPD for the duration of three years.

Meritorious Community Service Medal

Presented to Officers who conduct themselves in a respectful manner and are always helpful to fellow colleagues and provide assistance when needed.

Meritorious Police Service Award

Awarded to Officers who show dedication towards their job as an Officer and serve the public non-stop.

Academy Graduation Medal

Awarded to Officers who have completed the VCPD Academy and passed successfully.
