COMMANDS & STRUCTURE





Administrative Command

The Administrative Services Bureau (ASB) is responsible for the personnel matters of the San Andreas Police Department, it conducts the department's recruitment and selection efforts and process. Job-related training programs are developed and implemented to include sophisticated service training, in accordance with the standards of the department. On the other hand, the Administrative Services Bureau is the administrative backbone of the department, ensuring the straightforward production of policing-oriented documents, circulars and alike, utmost accountability with the intention of upholding the professional standards expected from the San Andreas Police Department.

-- Recruitment & Training Unit:
  • Responsible for the processing, interviewing, and screening of applicants;
  • Responsible for the administration of ongoing recruitment waves;
  • Responsible for responding to inquiries from candidates;
  • Responsible for the instruction, guidance, mentoring and correction of Cadets throughout all aspects of police work;
  • Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of service training in several aspects of police work.

-- Public Affairs Division:

The Public Affairs Division works closely with STAFF Officers to keep the public informed of the Department's interactions on day to day operations. This division is responsible to ensure transparency between the department and the public.



Special Operations

The Special Operations Command provide the San Andreas Police Department specialised tactical resources in support of operations during daily field activities, unusual occurrences, and elevated threat conditions. The mission is to establish a department-wide collaborative, consistent and coordinated approach to field situations with an emphasis on strategical depth.


-- Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT):
  • Responsible for providing support to the department's community-based policing efforts by deploying additional crime suppression resources throughout the nation in situations such as high-risk barricaded suspects, security details, hostage situations and highly dangerous criminals;
  • Responsible for the development and the deployment of a reserve force of the most highly trained and disciplined personnel possible;
  • Responsible for active involvement in long-term counter-terrorism assignments.

-- K9 Unit:
  • Responsible for providing canine support to within the state of San Andreas;
  • Responsible for bomb detection in high-risk events or terrorism-related threats;
  • Responsible for drug searches where narcotics are hidden.

-- Detective Unit:
  • Responsible for providing professional and quality investigations.
  • Responsible for ensuring scene security and evidence integrity at crime scenes.
  • Responsible for performing vehicle collision investigations.
  • Responsible for cross-agency communication.
  • Responsible for passing on leads and information to the FBI with cross agency working.
  • Responsible for gang and Narcotics investigations from an early stage of evidence gathering and intelligence.

Patrol Command

The Patrol command is the back bone to the SAPD. The officers are trained to deal with the everyday policing needs of the modern state of San Andreas. The Patrol Command are responsible for Law Enforcement, Community Engagement and Safety for all who live within the state.

-- Uniformed Policing:
  • Responsible for the uniformed response for day to day policing operations for law enforcement and public safety.
  • Responsible for the departments deployment of the Marine Unit which consists of specialist officers trained in water craft to uphold water laws, to assist in the arrest of offenders and maintain public safety.
  • Responsible for the deployment of all Aircraft within Air division where they are used daily supporting ground operations with ground to air communication with situation updates from the eye in the sky.
