INFORMATION
Tactical Response Unit is a Elite force with a team of highly skilled and trained operatives, and a special division of the National Office of Security Enforcement that utilizes special weaponry in handling with terrorism and hostage situations, robberies, major criminal operations, and in general all high risk operations.
Tactical Response Unit was previously known as and was the essence and heart of National Office of Security Enforcement, after the new system all LCPD divisions were merged into National Office of Security Enforcement and Tactical Response Unit became one of these divisions - Tactical Response Unit was reborn once again, as of December 2015.
Our Operatives are skilful and able to endure physical and mental challenges.
TRU duties Include
- Hostage rescue
- Providing superior assault firepower in certain situations, e.g. barricaded suspects
- Counter-terrorist operations
- Resolving high-risk situations with a minimum loss of life, injury, or property damage
- Specialized patrols
- Special military covert or overt operations.
