New LCPD Highway Patrol Announcement

Dear citizens of Liberty City,

The Liberty City Police Department have went into thorough research and under the LCPD Command Staff have investigated into motorists who continue to disobey the speed limit, or active chasing for standard cruisers has been a minimal effect on most occasions the suspects are lost out of sight, or our current Officers using standard vehicles have not got the best resources for high performance vehicles.

This will be becoming at a cease, the Liberty City Police Department has taken action for a new Division and a division with fairness for all Liberty City Civilians for their protection. LCPD will be gaining Stingers to their fleet within a few months time will only be used for special necessarily required use for high performance vehicles only, The LCPD & N.O.O.S.E has approved temporarily approval for the use of the N.O.O.S.E Stingers with those who are LCPD / N.O.O.S.E Officers ranks until the new fleet and Department arrives in Liberty City based on the Westminster LCPD Station, near Algonquin Bridge.


Newly, The Liberty City Highway Patrol will be the Liberty City Police Department's integrated division, lead by Highway Patrol Colonel along side lower ranks in this Department with great thorough experience. This Department division is a different specialization. Which lands under a sub-division will be lead independently operated by a leader which will be approved by the LCPD Head Command.

Information on this division:

• Liberty City Highway Patrol lead by Colonel [yet to be confirmed], will focus on patrolling Highways the longest stretches across Liberty City, patrols will  will only involve roads what are over 110km/h speed limit, will have the authority to respond to other units for high performance vehicles, which are not equivalent to a normal vehicle, with the use of arrests and active chasing suspects only if the Highway Patrol is necessarily is appropriately required.

The recruitment is tough and standards are high, will only allow internal LCPD members for eligibility to apply to this Department, LCPD Operatives who are apart of this Division are the most elite organisation in Liberty City, with highly trained skills and abilities.
