ARPD TRANSFER SYSTEM

Dear Officers and Citizens of Argonath, lately the Upper Command from all the departments have been working on a new kind of option for it's officers. There are people that have the ability to play SA:MP, VC:MP and LC:MP. As the departments have similarities with it's way of working, their rules and procedures, we made the decision to make it possible for officers to transfer from as example, SAPD to VCPD.

How does it work?

- We have made a transfer request, which will be forwarded to the command staff. Once the transfer has been requested the officer will be considered if he is allowed to be transfered, lets say from SAPD to VCPD, by this we are looking for a stable activity and no recent actions taken against the officer.

- If the SAPD Command Staff agrees, he will be forwarded with his personnel file towards the VCPD Command Staff.

- The VCPD Command will look into his file and discuss any matters which come along from the officer's past. Whenever VCPD agrees with the transfer, the transfer has been completed.

- After the transfer has been completed, each department will have it's own way to welcome and retrain the transfered officers, below in the spoilers are the requirements for each department.

Department Requirements

ARPD TRANSFER SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Dear Officers of Argonath Police Department, we the Head Command have been working on introducing a new system which allows the officers of each department to transfer to one of our three police departments (SAPD, VCPD, LCPD).

Each department has a different way of handling their transferred officers, this is to make sure the officers fit the criteria of the department they are joining. All three departments have similarities between rules and procedures but are differently with their way of recruiting. Underneath you can find the requirements for each department and it's process.

If Moving, ensure you possess
  • Valid Drivers Licence & Passport
  • Must be registered in-game for at least a month
  • Have not been banned recently

SAPD requirements for non commissioned officers:

Any non commissioned officer will obtain the rank of Probationary Officer upon transfer. Once the officer has been transferred they will be going over a small training process of two weeks which consists of the rules and regulations knowledge and observation of their activity. Whenever the officer has passed his trial period successfully the command will decide which rank suitable is for the officer, this depends on the officer his knowledge.

VCPD requirements for non commissioned officers:

Any officer will be made a Probationary Officer upon transfer. Once the officer has been transferred, he will have a while to stick and join other VCPD members in order to get the feel of the duty, and learn what every other officer has to know in order to become one. After that, he will be tested in his knowledge and performance, and will be evaluated on his rank.

LCPD requirements for non commissioned officers:

A License and Passport must be required before attempting to move to this Department, for legal and Division requirement reasons.

Officer+ who holds a rank in another Police Division (SAPD or VCPD) and wish to transfer for the LCPD, we reserve to hold a background check or decline Officers who wish to be Transferred (will remain at their own Department until approval), The step by step process involves moving into the LCPD Academy instantly with the recognition of your current Department Rank (SAPD/VCPD). Officer will undergo mandatory training to transition to LCPD's Training Standards, without any examination requirement with activity being monitored, this involves procedures, etiquette, weapons, vehicles.

Prior when training has been complete, the Officer may then be appointed to their current role (Officer - Sergeant), Command Staff have the right to review if to place the Transfer Officer into a lower position if necessary. If the Officer from the previous Department is a Command Staff member, there is a note there will be a (-1 or -2) Rank Demotion for fairness in the Departments Staffing system, this is only for the use of balance and fairness.

If you wish to transfer as Officer, you have the risk of dropping a rank upon transfer as each department has different perspectives. Do think twice before you decide to transfer, keep in mind that the transfer is only for your main department. If you are a part of any of ARPD's Divisions you will lose your position and have to reapply again within the other department.

For any questions you may contact:

SAPD Chief of Police Jake Parker
LCPD Chief of Police Skillz
VCPD Chief of Police Danigold

yours sincerely,

ARPD High Command Staff

Amazing news, it shows that the cooperation between departments there is (and has always been).
