Crime Investigation Unit - Announcement
« on: May 25, 2023, 11:12:17 am »

C.I.U IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

To all Citizens of Liberty City and Law Enforcement Agencies,

The C.I.U once served many citizens of Liberty City and was built to protect crime off the streets and track down those whom were under investigation and interrogated, worked with the Tactical Response Unit to target criminals and investigations.

We are very sad at the N.O.O.S.E Department to mark this decision, hence on discussions for the Crime Investigation Unit's future is that the with difficult on-going discussions the Leaders marked it was the last and least discussion to have this Department closed.

The department vehicles and equipment used from the CIU will be retained for N.O.O.S.E itself and will be further planned where these vehicles and weapons will be move to in it's future.

The Liberty City Police Department / N.O.O.S.E will be taking over the responsibility of cases and investigations of low and high profile suspects and internal investigations and will caretake the CIU Building which will still be in the property of N.O.O.S.E & Liberty City Police Dept and yet to be confirmed by LCPD Command.

What is next for the CIU Staff?
The remaining Staff member was Mac Taylor and his years serving as the CIU Inspector since (14.06.2020 - 01.06.2023), The LCPD has offered a on-going position with a promotion and the FBI has came into discussion.

N.O.O.S.E Staff wish Mr Taylor the best in his future career in what he decides to do and will be respected upon.

When will CIU be closing down?

The Crime Investigation Unit Department will be closing it's doors on June 1st, 2023.

Thank you
We wish to thank all the Past & Present CIU Members who once built this department from the ground up, this division was one of the best in N.O.O.S.E to the hard work and dedication all members have brang.

Thank you very much!  :leroy2:
