RS5 - SAPD moving forwards
« on: November 05, 2013, 21:39:54 pm »
Evening all...

Really this is just a quick question on SAPD Officers. In the Open Beta server for RS5, those players who pass basic training are given a rank of "SAPD Officer" - well, I was anyway!
Is this how things will be when RS5 transforms into mainstream Argonath? I assume that if that is the case, then SAPD Senior Officer will be seen as the benchmark for applications to a higher rank in the San Andreas Police Department?

Yours with curiosity,

SAPD Officer will now act as the rank EVERYONE can hold once they pass the Police test inside one of the departments.  Freecops/ARPD Officers are now gone.
If you wish to climb the SAPD career ladder you will have to schedule an interview and move on-wards from there.

Just have those who pass the training as Officer I, and the current probationary officers as Officer II. Much easier.

Moving forward with RS5, are those who are currently a Senior Officer within' SAPD going to be given a direct transfer into the department at the release of RS5 or are we going to be tested and have to go through the interview process as if we were probationary officers?

Joe

S.O's will remain S.O's, the "department" aspect has still yet to be worked out.
