I would like to apply for LCPD, but problem is I loged into server and there is nobody there, not even speaking of someone who could probably give me passport or license. Is there anyone who could come in-game around some specified time to show me around, teach something or tell me how to get a passport?

It's because the server is unstable right now. Everyone is just waiting for RS2 release in February

Ask Kerbe :donut:

Kerbe reporting in service!

The server is currently less active, however, on February 1st there comes a long expected update - RS 2.0. Getting passport and driving license on T3 server is not necessary, as all accounts will be resetted with the coming of RS 2.0. And good you are willing to join, we always need good guys! ;)

And if any more questions occur, don't hesitate to ask!

Yeah, my question is since getting driving license and passport is hardly possible(and I already got both in San Andreas), is it possible to skip those in application process, so in simple: can I apply anyway?

If bad guy throws a rock on you, don't throw it back- it will change you into criminal as well.

I am actually not sure whether I am permitted to make such a decision or not. But as we are giving passports to regulars from other servers, and since the server is going to reset anyway, I think you can apply.

Hello,

I wanted to know , when there are no admins on the server, when is it ok for us to defend ourself against , car rammers or just plain DMérs.
A situation like |  I'm conducting a trafic check on a driver fo xx reasons, a random player sees us on the minimap or in sight , and decides to ruin that RP by ramming and attempt to carkill. Is it legitimate to use /su and deal with it as " Assault with a deadly weapon ( Vehicle ) " , despite If warned couple of times that what hes doing is against the rules , and he will still go at it.

My other question regarding drug busts.
If there are no DET's or highrank online that can go undercover. I notice an advertisment of somebody wanting to sell certain drugs. I decide to form a "squad" of officers for that bust. I will go off duty and contact the dealer , still keeping in contact with the squad of officers. If I manage to meet up with the dealer , I will let other officers know my location , most likely trough PM. The deal goes on and that person sends me the drugs , I will take screenshots and right after I will give the go signal to the officers where they would rush in and peform the bust.

Is the above procedure permited , despite I will contact highrank staff afterwards to justify where the drugs came from and so on.

Thank you

Signed,
Peter Kovacs

Going off duty means you're a civilian. Just like a lot of times this is getting mixed up with 'undercover' or 'detective duty'.
A detective is still an officer but is wearing plain clothes and his badge in concealed. Therefor, all actions taken from that point are as a law enforcer.
If you would 'drug bust' off-duty, it would be a crime. (Narcotics trafficking and in most cases also impersonation of law enforcement staff due to the fact that a lot of officer help with the arrest while they are off duty)

I hope this answers your second question.

As for the drug-bust.. that is okay, as long as you notify officers about your actions and do all of that in cooperation with them. :)

For the rulebreakers.. don't do it, there is always a way to avoid them and if you can't just report. All the reports are saved in log.. and if someone is really really naughty while there is no admins around, he will have a fun time next time he rulebreaks while an admin is there. The penalty for even minor rulebreaking might even end as a ban and not a temporary punishment :P

Do weapons bought from NPC dealer count as Illegal to posses?
I ask because if we find someone selling guns, we can not bring them in.
Also, is having guns in possesion legal?

I am not aware of those NPCs. I guess this is a new system similar to drug ones. What do you mean by:

if we find someone selling guns, we can not bring them in.
Regarding the rest: I can for sure tell you that possessing a gun is completely legal. Though we do not have any gun regulations like limited ammo capacity, semi-automatic/automatic and the list continues. They might be handy in some situations but again I think they'll never be added. Pointless to discuss.

The new system has restricted some weapons to only NPCs..

so for example you can buy an AK-47 only at NPC or other player.. but not in a weapon shop
Taking that into consideration, I think we could say that the weapons which are not sold at Weapon Stores are illegal?

So trading guns is legal, that was: "if we find someone selling guns, we can not bring them in."
Thank you.

Are we allowed to install police cars mod? I have come across some nice mods, and I would like to patrol around in it. I am aware of the rules that mods which give advantage over others are forbidden, however this is not a handling mod that gives advantage, it's just enhancing the shape and texture of the cruiser. Having said that, I have heard people saying that such car mods are not allowed (even if it's not giving advantage), which leaves me in confusion.

And what about police skin/weapon mods?

Skins are okay, but mods even with different mesh are.. I think, against the rules [ Even without handling ]

Because, for example, you can make your car appear to be much much smaller with a mod like that and use it to your advantage
I think that's the reason :P
