LCPD HISTORY

Where the LCPD Began it's days

The LCPD started in 2010 by [R*]Tai and Ben Samiir who was the first appointed Chief for Liberty City Police Department between (26.09.2010 - 05.02.2011). While there was Emily Sanderson who was one of the main founders for the Department. The first known public LCPD topic was signed with the "Operator Chief" rank. LCPD was off to its first, rocky, start. LCPD didn't become anything massive to begin with. However, things started progressing when George MacHawk (hAWK) started out as the Chief (12.06.2011 - 07.12.2014). From there, divisions such as the National Office of Security Enforcement, LCPD Detective division which began to develop and establish.

Eventually, hAWK moved on, and ARPD Commissioner CBFasi who was currently the Acting Chief for the LCPD (19.02.2011 - 12.06.2011) then appointed Deputy Chief Petr Latch (Kerbe) as the Chief of Police, and Captain Mihail Junkovich as Deputy Chief. They began to work towards expanding the LCPD, improving the Department with in depth focused of changes throughout the Department to the LCPD Academy which became part of N.O.O.S.E training, the High Speed Unit was then merged under the Tactical Response Unit which were some heavy backed changes in those times.

When the LCPD started to improve

In late 2016,  Petr Latch came upon a not a easy decision to retire as Chief from the LCPD, leaving the LCPD Chief role to Emily Sanderson to be appointed the LCPD Chief to lead, while taking this new role changes were made through the Liberty City Police Department changes for staff systems, LCPD was refreshed under new forum restructuring and designs were improved right across the Department, with changes and implementations to the LCPD Academy structures, resources with vehicles and development to the department.

National Office of Security Enforcement
Announcement

Dear citizens of Liberty City,

it's been a long time since the Liberty City Police Department went through a large process of change. But today, we have finalised one enormous update which we believe will take us forward and provide us with more means and opportunities to keep the Liberty City safe. As we constantly seek new ways of enforcing the law and protecting the city, we finally reformed the well-known National Office of Secuirty Enforcement in a way that allows both LCPD's dedicated officers and lawful citizens to step up and take on one specialization of their choice.

Newly, National Office of Security Enforcement will be the Liberty City Police Department's only division, lead by N.O.O.S.E. Commander and his Secretary. However, it will be divided into three sub-divisions, each with different specialization. These sub-divisions will be lead indepentently by their own leaders appointed by the N.O.O.S.E. head command. The divisions are:
  • National Office of Security Enforcement - Tactical Response Unit, which is tasked with combating terrorism, bomb threats, hostage situations, robberies and much more. Lead by Commander Bass Kolta, it will settle even the most dangerous situations across the city, using their extensive trainings and special weapons and tactics.
  • National Office of Security Enforcement - Crime Investigation Unit, which already operates in the city and does a great work suppresing illegal weapons and narcotics trafficking. It is the center of both Liberty City Police Department and N.O.O.S.E. intelligence. In its head stands Inspector Gregory Parker, a veteran law enforcer and a skilled investigator.
  • National Office of Security Enforcement - High Speed Unit, lead by Commander Kevin Parker, will focus on chasing down and arresting suspects who are using even the fastest vehicles available. You will find the Liberty City's best drivers inside this sub-division.

As was said before, N.O.O.S.E. will also allow citizens into its ranks. The recruitment is tough and standards are high, but if you succeed, you will find yourself among the members of the most elite organisation in Liberty City. Recruitment starts today and will only be closed once all sub-divisions have reached sufficient amount of trained members. If this sounds interesting to you, make sure to visit the National Office of Secruity Enforcement Recruitment center.

On behalf of the Liberty City Police Department and National Office of Security Enforcement, have a happy New Year and stay safe!

Charles F. Offdensen,
Liberty City Police Department Chief of Police
National Office of Security Enforcement Commander
