You, yes that's right, YOU can now download the Argonath S.W.A.T. Team's official skin.

Guide:
BE SURE TO BACKUP ANY FILES YOU USE. MAKE A FOLDER TITLED 'BACKUPS' AND COPY ANY UNMODIFIED FILES YOU WILL USE TO THAT FOLDER.
1. Download the skin above and extract all the files to a folder.
2. Download IMG Tool from http://grandtheftauto.filefront.com/file/IMG_Tool;44920
3. Open up IMG Tool and open the file GTA3.img in your C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\Models folder ((Or wherever you installed SA, just find the folder path \Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\Models)).
4. On the top toolbar go to Edit>Find and type in Swat.dff .
5. It should highlight the 'Swat.dff' file, so right click on it and click 'Replace' .
6. Find the 'Swat.dff' file you extracted from the skin pack and press 'Open' .
7. Follow steps 4-6 to replace the file 'Swat.txd' .
8. On the top toolbar go to Commands>Rebuild Archive and wait for the program to finish. Once it has, you're ready to play with your new skin.

although i dont see SWAT skin often, i will enjoy it when i see you guys in action
looks very nice, well done to whoever made it

i just downloaded it, it opens in winrar where you cant do anything with it,
is it installed then? or what do you have to do after that

You need to install it with the IMG tool.

Its quite east to install it. Here are the steps.

Step1 download IMG tool from a site.
Step2 go to your GTA SA folder on C drive or were you installed it.
Step3 open that folder
Step 5 in that gta folder you find the map models open it
Step 5 in the map folders you find a file named GTA3 open it with IMG tool
The first time you wanna open GTA3 it wont be an IMG file so right click on Gta 3 file and chose IMG tool in the list of programs to use fir opening it.
Step6 once gta3 us opened with IMG you go to the second menu starting from the left. Click on that menu and chose the option search.
Step 7 when you clicked on search you need to type in the name of the 2 filed you wanna replace. So go to the winRAR file of the swat skin. Unzip the txd and dff file from the wonrar file and put it in a map.
Step 8 type in the search box of GTA3 file the nam of the txd file of the swat skin. And search.
Step9 when the file has been found you go to the thirdmrnu starting from left and click on replace you will have to select a file you wanna replace.
Step 10 go to the map were you unzipped the files of the swat skin. And select the txd file click open. Do the same for the DFF file of the swat skin, search it open it and it gets replaced with the oroginal file.
Srep11 when you have replaced the both files, go to the third menu again starting from left and select rebuild archive click ok and everything that gas changed will be saved. After it is finished ( you see it in the left corner below) you close the gta3 file and enjoy the skin.

CAUTION Make back up of the original gta3 file !!!!!!!!!!!

Just so everybody knows, I am not deserving of all the credit on this skin mod. I found a mod of the Counter Strike Navy Seals skin for S.W.A.T. I then edited the skin to have a more appropriate color for the team ((The original skin was very light colored.)) Panda_Araatus is credited for adding the Argonath Flag on the front and the S.W.A.T. badges on the arms.

It´s nice, but i think dark blue is more cool than full black.

The uniform is actually a dark blue color, and the kevlar is black. If you highlight the pictures, you can see this difference. The brightness of the game has to be changed in order to see this.
