Title: SAPD: [ACSD]AndrewH
Post by: AndrewH on May 04, 2010, 08:56:41 am
Ingame Nickname AND Character Name (warning, see point #9 of application rules): [ACSD]AndrewH, RP name is Andrew Harrison
Real-Life Age AND Ingame Age: RL: 16, IG: 25.
How long have you played on Argonath RPG: Not sure, around a year I suppose.
How long have you played as a cop: Most of my time on Argonath has been as a cop. I know codes, policies, etc as I have been one as a while.
Are you a United States of Argonath Citizen (do you have a passport)?: Yes
Do you have a driver's license (issued by driving school)?: Yes
Have you read all "SAPD Police Procedures" topics? Yes
Are you able to use TeamSpeak (no microphone needed): Yes (I use the SASD Ventrilo and I am familiar with radio traffic)
Have you been an SAPD member before? (cadet or above): Yes, Cadet.
If yes, explain your previous rank in SAPD, did you resign, rejected or fired? It was rejected due to the academy reformation.
Had an previous application that go rejected? (add link to old application): http://arpd.argonathrpg.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=34&topic=8280.0
Why do you want to join San Andreas Police Department (minimum of 3 sentence): Because I enjoy RP'ing as a cop, I know the procedures, codes, and the commands of Argonath. I didn't get the chance to become an Officer before the reformation, so I am going to push to become one this time. I enjoy all matters of ARPD, from the chases to the stake outs. I understand ranks, and that these things take time.

Name Changed to ACSD

Dr_Pepper, I think if you have a cadet application you should ask them to lock it then after you have cops expirince you can re-apply.

Andrew, I highly recommend you, I didn't know if you were that good, but, after yesterday's investigation, I have completely been convinced, you're the standard of an officer, At that situation where I was extremely hurt after a 207, and you collected the evidence and concluded what happened, it was utterly brilliant, no other word about it. Good luck Andrew, keep it up, you've got a bright future ahead of you.

Also Andy, how do you not know if that subject was already suspected, but was taken under investigation? Or he suspected him for other reasons so he could suspect the subject, give him the miranda rights, take him in for processing and/or interrogation?

Sergeant Fawkes.

Andrew please do not advise other applicants to close their applications, this may be taken as an insult. I for one know Pepper was once one of the finest officers the SAPD had.

I haven't had a look at the picture but at any rate you shouldn't be saying things like that.

Sushi, he suspected him for "Investgation/Investgate. This is not a crime so he abused him. :O
And about Pepper he said that "I see no rules/policies broken." but Pepper Andrew suspected him for no reason he suspected him for "Investgation/Investgate" and this is not a crime that's why i said to close your application.

Anyway good luck for both of you too.

Telling someone to close their application is never a neccesary thing to say, even if they should and I have had to suspect people to be "detained for questioning". We obtained a warrant and were allowed to suspect and bring in multiple civilians. I'm just saying that it happens sometimes.

Recommended Shows maturity and respect for others, he understands and knows by heart most police procedures and he is knowledgeable. He would be a great officer and a great addition to ARPD, It will be a shame if we don't allow him in.

Sincerely,

I don't see the problem with this. The other day, GiacJr lead a storm on a Gvardia residence and we were told by the captain himself to suspect all of them so we could investigate.

I am not closing my application. See the explaination above. If you have a problem with me doing this, contact the DPD Captain GiacJr. 'nuff said.

Just doing traffic stops and assisting other SASD units on their calls.

Applicant has been accepted to SAPD in Wave #001
Your application has been accepted into the SAPD Cadet Academy - in this academy you will learn the core values and procedures that a SAPD Officer must learn and embrace to be able to be the absolute best he possibly can. You will be observed ingame by every member of the SAPD, so it is YOUR responsibility to act professionally at ALL times!

From the moment you are accepted onwards, you should be learning the regulations and procedures to be able to carry out your cop work to the absolute best of your ability - this will give you the skills and experience to make it into the SAPD and to continue to be the best cop you possibly can be. The SAPD is not for everyone, so checking out the regulations and procedures will also give you a chance to see whether or not you're cut out for the SAPD or not.

You are NOW a SAPD Cadet, and you are expected to behave and work in a respectful way to the General Public and your fellow police officers. Failure to do so could result in the termination of you from the SAPD.

The academy will consist of 9 sessions, one pre-exam exam and your officer exam, which can be given to you from any Academy Senior Member or SAPD Command Staff Member. (Lt +).

IMPORTANT! You must reply at LEAST once per week in your application topic to let us know how you're going or if you have any questions, or else you risk being rejected from the SAPD due to lack of interest. It's your responsibility to show your activity, NOT ours.

Contact a Captain+ Ingame for your badge.

Good luck in your steps to becoming an Officer!

Signed,
DPD Captain
Giac Junior

Great, thanks Giac.

I will contact a LT/Senior member to get training.

Actually first you have to get 9 trainings from academy instructors and then to contact Lt+ or Senior member for exam.

Dear SAPD Cadet,
Although you have answered to the Activity Check, you still have taken 0 of the required sessions.
You have 48 hours (2 days) to complete some of the required sessions or you will be rejected from the Academy.

We hope to see you continue your trainings and hopefully be promoted to the rank of Officer.
Good Luck and see you in the field.

Dear SAPD Cadet,

I regret to inform you that you have been ejected from the SAPD Academy due to lack of interest, thus rejecting your application.
We have given previous warning to complete the necessary training sessions and you failed to do just that.

We hope that if you decide to reapply for another round that you show more activity and interest as a cadet.
Good Luck in your future career, any further questions can be directed towards me on MSN or a Forum PM.
