Title: Radio Frequencies
Post by: JamesWilson on June 29, 2010, 05:41:30 am
There should be 2-3 radio frequencies so that we don't have to switch between cb channels and New officers can get used to calling codes on the radio without having to say over and over again,
10-22, [Training]. And if there is a 207 you can do a command like ex: /switchradio Tac 3. So that while some officers are on the 207 call, the officers who are still on patrol can communicate with each other, without having to sift through the 207 spam. Because even though all the 207 responding officers are on the CB channel there are still officers who want to communicate over the police radio.

There are 2 frequencies, and I think that is enough.
/R and /E.

Anymore then that, use CB like everyone else.

Ya

/r for police

/e for medicial support

/joinchannel 9911 for SFPD talk

this is how you contact others

You don't need different frequency Now it would be cool to have like a city frequency so when you get in the city you join their radio.

If there's a 207 call, it's leader should get everyone in a CB channel. If he doesn't, suggest it to him!

I......I don't think you guys read the entire post, Even though 207 responding officers HAVE joined a cb channel for communication purposes, people STILL talk and spam over the radio, this would simply cut down on the spam, be a training tool for newbies, and also let people who are in groups who have cb channels to stay in those chanels and communicate with their partners

Officers on 207 or another specific call should use a CB radio.
Criminals only have a single CB radio. To communicate with allies we have to drop our group chat and join their channel.

You can stay in /r when you join a CB radio channel.
