Title: Clarification on New Narcotic Related laws

Growing weed is now Legal
Smoking weed in a private area (house) is Legal

Selling weed is Illegal
Smoking weed in public is Illegal
Producing Heroin is Illegal
Smoking Heroin is Illegal
Selling Heroin is Illegal

Now Any Cases that were opened on any people gangs or groups before the constitution was in-acted are still admissible in court. So if you were going to go against a gang for their weed dealings and you had evidence about the deals before the law was changed. It is still admissible in court. Now From now on you can not gather evidence about people growing weed because it is legal.

The Actual Law

Police can still not grow weed on duty and never will be able to !!!

Edit: It don't make any sense. Why is it not illegal to grow weed? You can only grow weed in weedfields which is public area. So you can grow weed at the weedfields but can't smoke it there?

Now after consulting them this was most likely a result of all the riots and stirring the criminal groups had tword this. You must think from the Criminal side of this Now that they have what they want they will get money.. but they wont be able to bait the cops anymore. If we are serous about rejecting this idea I see 2 options.

1. Protest

- Lead a city wide protest of cops refusing to work until the law is changed or re worked with the SAPD's view added.

2. Leave it as is

- Inevitably they will get bored of this and decide that the criminals want the old law's back.

Because its bascly a ARPD rule. Same reason why we're not allowed to drink on duty. We need to keep our heads straight.

let me clear this up so people can just shut up and stop complaining. since people cant use Heroin still then thats no problem, old laws still apply to that. Weed cant be dealt to other people so old law still applies, weed cant be used in public wich means can only be done in houses, which means old law basically still applies.

I think most of us know this is Gandalf's decision, but they are just experessing their opinion, no need to be agreesive and tell people to "leave" especially after they worked so hard in the SAPD to get where they are

Should move a bit players attention to drugs world, instead of cophunting.

I personally like this law, since it does not compromise UC work and cop work.

No they can Have weed on their person and they can grow weed.

They CAN'T Sell weed or smoke in public

Well read it again. I simply stated that the weedfields are public places. You can't smoke weed in public places, but you can smoke it in private properties such as your home or business. People can grow weed in a public place, but can't smoke it there. Thats what I am saying. It should be illegal to grow weed, but not illegal to buy weed at the Hospital for medical reasons.

So smoking weed/growing weed is the same thing. Especially if your under the influence. So I'm guessing we can still pull over people if they have been smoking weed in their car.

But a new police procedure should be made that SAPD is not allowed to smoke weed or grow weed at all

The only things that are legal are

Growing weed
Smoking weed > Private Property
Possessing weed

Illegal

Selling weed
Selling Heroin
Using Heroin
Using weed in public space
Creating Heroin
