Title: Using Spanish in a Traffic Stop
Post by: TinMan on October 01, 2010, 04:10:48 am
USE THIS ONLY IF THE CIVILIAN SPEAKS SPANISH!

Hello, I’m TinMan and I hate it when people speak Spanish during a traffic stop. It makes me so mad and you’re probably going to say take him to jail. Which I think is unconstitutional, political incorrect to do that. So, I made this very helpful guide on what to say during a traffic stop in Spanish.

Traffic Stop
Hola, I' oficial de m con el Departamento de Policía. – Hi, I’m officer (name) with the police department.

Licencia y registro?  - License and Registration?

pasaporte - Passport?

¿Usted sabe porqué le paré? – Do you know why I stopped you?

Senor (Sr.), usted era (you were) and/or usted es (you are)…  (Crimes section)

El señor me da algunos minutos al cheque en cosas en coche - Mister, give me a few minutes to check on things in car.

Voy a que va a darle una advertencia - I’m going to give you a warning.
Or…
Voy a darle un boleto para los dólares para - I’m going to give you a ticket for (amount) dollars for (crime)

Tenga un día agradable - Have a nice day

Crimen: (Crimes)

apresuraba (speeding)
Conducción imprudente (Reckless Driving)
Atropello y fuga (Hit and Run)
Conducción borracha (Drunk Driving)
Asesinato (Murder)
Asesinato del oficial de policía (Murder of Police Officer)
daño real del cuerpo (actual body harm)
robo (robbery)
robo frustado (attempted robbery)
secuestro (kidnapping)

Greetings:
Hello / Hi!   ¡Hóla!

Thank you for Google Translator and http://www.smartphrase.com/Spanish/sp_general_words_phr.shtml for helping me with this report. Also, I would like to thank you for reading it.

-If you know another language that people use a lot to role play in Argonath, then please do the same as I did here.

This is just a rough draft of this idea. I'm willing to make the guide better and longer. Also, Kirby I hate it when you use spanish whenever I pull you over but hey look what the police department has :D!!!!
