TeamSpeak 3 'overlay', the most wanted..
- Click here (http://tsnotifier.cfxxl.de/) and download the Notifier Installer and the TS3 Helper plugin for notifier
- Install the TS3 Notifier client
- Then copy the TS3NotifierHelper_win32.dll or the _win64 depends what version you have 32 or 64 'version' of TeamSpeak3. goto your TeamSpeak3 directory and then goto 'Plugins' and place it there
- Open TeamSpeak3 and click on 'Settings' and then 'Plugins' or press Ctrl+Shift+P
- Then check the box for TSNotifier Helper Plugin and press close
- Then goto start and all programs and open up TSNotifier or if you got in on desktop
- Now right click on the TSNotifier icon in the place where MSN and shit goes down (check pic) And press on 'Edit gamesettings.ini
(http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/6369/rightclick.png) - Now you should get a white notepad document. Open SA:MP and get into some random server and close down GTA SA
- now SA:MP and GTA:SA and any other program you open should appear as
[gta_sa.exe] change the 0 for gta_sa.exe to a 1 to enable it
enabled=1 - and now TSnotifier should show up like this:
It will show channel, and the (0/5). the 5 means how many it is in the channel, And the 0 will change whenever someone talks, It will show how many in the channel who is speaking at the same time
Then if you right click on the icon at the clock for TSnotifier you can change position of the notifier, also you can change colours for the one who is speaking.
Thanks to Wake for posting this on Argonath RPG forums (http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=60622.0) and for heads up, I tought it would be great to post it here too as many of SAPD and ARPD officers uses TS on a daily basis.
Enjoy!

Cool guide, but it's useless when you got G15 keyboard :D
-
When I click "Edit gamesettings, ini" and join a server, [gta_sa.exe] doesn't appear there
-
Ohh, I think I forgot to post this here. Anyways, thanks Trane :D
And bert, When the TSNotifier is on, connect to SA:MP server (or single player on GTA SA) then it should show up
(ohh, But if the gamesettings.ini is opened, close it and reopen ;)
Otherwise past this into the document.
[gta_sa.exe]
enabled=1

I did that and still not working, maybe it's because of Win7?
-
Seems very useful. Gonna use it soon!
Currently I got another one but it it's somethimes weird.
I think this one got a better overview.
-
Problem, I put the Win64 in the plugins file, go back to my TS, It says that the notifier failed to open
-
Actually, I got no idea about problems with TSNotifier (only that it might close down GTA:SA if you close down TSNotifier)
-

Which version of TS3 you have, 32 or 64bit?
and are you sure that you downloaded the right one? (depending on your TS3 bit version)
-
Very Nice!
Thanks

How come when I clicked this 'Edit gamesettings.ini nothing appears. I had two friends yesterday help me install it and there wasn't a notepad that appeared, and I tried to install it 10 times. What I am getting to it's not the way I'm installing it, it's the fact that there is some personal blocker. I need some help.

It keeps saying I'm missing d3dx9_43.dll....
Fixed it by updating DirectX but now TSNotifier won't detect gta_sa.exe

Run the Direct X Update.
-
I run Windows 7 - 64 bit and this raises MASSIVE issues most of the time.
My little notepad doesn't detect GTA:SA when I run it and manually typing it doesn't work either. Anyone got some answers?
-
Question, though its totally offtopic...
I have windows xp, and a somewhat old graphic card.. Nvidia 8400 Se, 512MB.
Should I upgrade my directx from 9.0c to 10 ?
It wont cause any damages on my gta sa gameplay right ?

You can't install DirectX 10 on XP, as it is only possible on Vista. Windows 7 wants DirectX 11.

Make sure TS Notifier is working. Start gta_sa.exe, then close it. Right click on TS notifier, Edit gamesettings.ini and it should be there.

If your using x-fire it won't work. Also I use to have TXDhack it also wont work. I think if your using any other applications that interact with gta_sa.exe it wont work.

TS Notifier doesn't work with Windows 7

WOOOOOOT! I finally got my TS Notifier to work.
Explanation:
It depends what compatitbility you are using for SAMP. In Right Click>>>Properties>>>Compatibility Tab>>>(My Game Runs in Windows 98). With your TS Notifier you have to have the SAME compatibility with your SAMP or it won't pick up "GTA_SA.exe" or "SAMP.exe" in "gamesettings.ini.
How to change compatibility for TS Notifier:
1.) Find the TS Notifier Directory(c://Program Files//TSNotifier)
2.) Find the TS Notifier.exe
3.) Right Click on TS Notifier
4.) Click on Properties
5.) Find the Compatibility Tab
6.) Change it to the SAME Compatibility as your GTA.

Anyone know how to get TSnotifier working when you've got mods that use a d3d9.dll file?

I've done what TinMan said here, but I still can't see SAMP or GTA SA on the notepad file. Can anyone help?

This doesn't help.

TSNotifier NO LONGER works with the updated Teamspeak client.
Use the 'Directx' plugin in the plugins section to use the TS equivalent.
-
Just reinstall TSNotifier with newest version.
Works for me.
-
:o
Never knew they had a new version.
I prefer the official TS Overlay now though ;D

The official one was technically made for TS2 ;)
