That is corruption, dear officers...
Any suggestions??? Ideas???

You just HADDDDDDDDD to bump a 2 years old topic, didn't you?
RON has a point though...
-
ElMartu, you enjoy telling people about brining back old topics, don't you?
Fair point though.
RON, setting a great example there about not leaking any confidential ARPD things.
-
Whats wrong with you Legacy? Have a bumbing old topics fetish or what?
Anyway as said, god point from RON.
-
Listen to yourselves, "WTF LEGACY U R STUPID FOR BUMPING TOPIC
RON has a great point though!"
Maybe he bumped the topic because it has a point..?
-
Why you guys going hard on Legacy, I think he bumped it for a reason, maybe he read this topic and wanted everyone to see Ron's point again.. no problem against that.. like calm down.

I did not try to be mean =( i only bumb it so more people could see his idea =( sorry i wont do it again i guess
and yes he has a good point i know
-
Sorry if i seemed rude or anything, was not meant to :) My apologizes if anyone took it bad!
-
Holy crap...and here I thought RON was becoming active again lol!
-
i had the same lol, a topic from Ron
but not needed bump,
i dont see anything important in the message,
he is right though about the being cop then criminal= a bit corrupt
-
But lets look here from another side: We actually have none of some notable "tactics" at all, exept for 207, but every criminal, who wasn't even a cop once knows about "Give money - assault" thing.
I'm trying to mention to be even more organised, and train special formations, tactics, etcera.
-
Yes there is a point there..
The FBI for example doesnt commit any crimes at all because we have 1 role. But we also do some civilian RP like maybe taxi, medic, etc..
Why cant the SAPD do the same? It would be more RP for those who really want to have 1 role.
-
for the ones who want to have 1 role yes,
but you know how much in SAPD are mafia members?
or just light criminals?
a lot of us are
its still a game, and you shouldnt restrict every thing
but i do agree to do it at higher rankings,
when you got a rank like Sergeant your work should be police work,
not being criminal

No no man I'm saying how the other people are acting, you can bump topics for that reason of course! I'm telling other people not to actl ike that because you bumped it, that's what quotes do. ;)

You just pulled that out of the bag didn't you?
No, worries, it's fine. Just try not to bring back outdated topics unless really necessary.
-
But it is really a good point. Why should a man come and learn everything about ARPD then use it against them. like TS
-
Haha I remember when the SWAT team went off duty to kidnap someone XD . That was sweet. The guy being kidnapped must've thought: "WTF!?!" when he saw deputy chief Pancher shouting "Get in the car!"
It's a game, it would be bollocks to stay legal all the time unless you're in a strict group (like FBI).
-
I think you guys are asskissing because this is RON's topic. If it was any other person's topic, you would all start flaming telling the guy to not bump the topic... :trust:

Actually, surprising enough people were able to do both!
-
Well, if anyone's too worried about bringing back this topic, it can be locked.
-
Cops these days are too scared to RP corrupt cops. Instead they like to be robots who say the same things, do the same things, kiss the same asses etc.
This is because it requires no imagination or skill to RP a robot.
-
I personally think you should be able to roleplay a "Corrupt" cop to an extent

You can infact RP a Corrupt cop. Just know at the end that your ASS IS..........................

If you roleplay it correctly you don't have to end up being fired.
-
RON himself roleplays as a corrupt cop. It's a lot more fun. Requires a lot more imagination. He even made C.R.A.S.H active for a while, which enabled ARPD members to join if they wanted.

Haha... The first day I was officer, you and your buddies came to me: /me points gun. You better get your ass in the car, or it's over!
Once I was in the car you threatened to kill me if I didn't join CRASH, or would betray any members of it... It was fun, but it got me confused like hell...
Back on-topic:
I've been selling drugs off duty a few weeks ago too :O Of course, I grew myself and NOT confiscated drugs. I had fun, I was El Capachino... And yes, you should be able to be RPing a "dirty cop" without getting fired :)
-

Just demoted, like you, if I'm correct. Don't encourage them, please. :cop:
-
Actually I was never a part of CRASH as I was busy with ALS at the time.
And to be honest, the whole ARPD against corruption is kinda absolute shit, because corruption is in the nature of the actual game. It's just one of those rules that cant be helped due to lack of support.
Although since iv'e come back I decided I don't really like being a cop much anymore. Doesn't really do much good for anyone except other cops. Best parts of a cop I've had are helping random people, mainly not even cop related.
-
Doesn't help anyone but the cops?!? Dude, it's the people with mindsets like you that cause that to become true! Fix it!
