Title: State Of California Official Miranda Rights

It seems either I knew another version, or the state updated their's, but here's the official Miranda Rights as stated by the state of California. Bear in mind that this information IS publicly available, so there is no harm in me releasing this information here as it does not violate my academy policies or state or federal law:

You have the right to remain silent.
Anything you say can and will be used against
you in court.
You have the right to consult with an attorney

For the most part in the United States it's the same, but it can slightly vary from state to state on the wording.

Well it looks like the Feds updated the Miranda Rights. I was watching tv last night and they said the rights very similar to the ones above, which surprised me. There must've been a case where a suspect didn't understand and it caused the Supreme Court to update things. The one I used to use was:
