Awards Ceremony

   The SAPD Command will be holding an Awards evening for this summer, first global awards ceremony, in a long time!
We happily invite everyone to attend this joyful event of unity for SAPD. Furthermore, we hope this event brings Officers together, and shows them that we're all a united force!
   In time, we'll announce the exact date, time and location. See you there!

F.B.I Temple, Los Santos headquarter? Its a nice place and have a good meeting room, but maybe it won't fit since this will be on summer and probably have a lot of people..

L.V.P.D? It has a pretty big interior..  :leroy:

No, not always on SF City Hall. There were always multiple different locations, LVPD, SF City Hall, but Cop Art Hotel never appeared. It could be used now.

As it has a natural cop-setting, we'll use the 'Cop Art' building at San Fierro Square. If possible, this stage needs to be set by late June.

We've done a lot of Ceremonys at SF for example, so you could either keep to tradition and Stay there, or pick a nice spot in LV, I think Hunter Quarry could be a good choice  :sheriff:

I'll have to update you, but DPD were going to use a stage north of Dillimore somewhere for their ceremonies. It's outside, and theres lots of room :)

I believe that exact location has had a stage in the past for some ARPD Ceremonies, so I don't see why people stopped using this in the first place :cop:

I suggest a weekend, at a time like 0:00 or 1:00 CET. Times such as 20:00 CET mean plenty of people from the australiasia regions would not be able to attend.

Times Such as 1:00 and 0:00 CET meanin general, people with timezones from GMT -1 through to perhaps GMT + 5 will not be able to attend

I think I got that the right way around, I mean that most people do not play from 12pm until 5am

Well, my timezone is GMT but I am more than prepared to stay up until 01:00CET to attend but only if it is a saturday.

Perhaps a suggestion of 22:00 CET would be better for everyone?

Actually it isn't right now, /time is one hour behind and is right now GMT on the server. Just so you know  :roll:

Hey Leroy,

Here is what I got so far. If you want something added let me know or if you have any suggestions let me know. Im trying to stay away from smoke beause the last time we had that we had many op code errors, and server crashes. So I imagine it's best we stay away from anything that will cause smoke because we will have a large amount of people in a small area.

Slap some decorative lighting and greenery in there and I think you can call it good. He's looking for something that makes it flashy and presentable, since it's a large event.

What you can see on the left are some flowers, a blackboard with the names of fallen officers and the flag of Argonath(yes imagine it!) Center is stand, haven't got the mic yet since I do not know the object's id. Also there are 2 deks and 4 seats for every Captain since Lieutenants traditionally stand near the Chief. Added some barriers and that's it pretty much.
