Post by: Ben Samiir on July 22, 2011, 20:19:04 pm: Hello colleagues and new Officers who don’t know me. I had a lot of real life issues that I needed to solve and I don’t going to lie I still have a lot of problems to solve.

I arrived in March 2008 and was loyal to the SAPD for more than 3 years. I always tried to make the SAPD way stronger then the criminal side, after observing long time the problems SAPD had against criminals I decided to open SRU.

I spended and wasted my energy many hours and even days at explaining members of SAPD on TeamSpeak how to work and giving them trainings to give the most advantage as possible against criminals.

I see a lot of those Cops became TOP Kops today and I am proud of them. Maybe not many people have seen all the work I have done for SAPD on the fields. But always when an Officer life was in danger it was a priority for me to be as fast as possible on scene. That’s one of the reasons why I got often mad on TS when people responded to slow.

I know a lot of people are going to claim SRU was a group of abusers but I think the only people who judge that SRU were abusers were the people who never worked with it. Anyways at that time we proved to the people who it was needed that there was no abuse at all.
Anyways I going to be back active once I am unbanned and hopefully see you on the field for the next C30 ;).

If it was not Ben's topic I would so discuss this with you, since your professionalism and motivating during your time in SWAT was as shit as you think SWAT was.
Your attitude right now is even worse against the SAPD/SWAT as a whole. Why bother coming here, Jack? Since we are so shit.

SRU is better dead. They break rules often, hardly ever warned before firing upon suspects. With those words said SRU sounded more like a suspect hunting fest, Nothing to do with tactics nor roleplay just OOO orange kill kill.......

Final words, At least SWAT tries to applies tactics in roleplays

Since I was part of the old team, I'd rather not discuss SRU seeing as many people seem to dislike our old team. What I will say is that, we knew when we were needed and we acted upon that with the correct actions.

EDIT: If I wasn't clear, I had the utmost respect for Ben as well as my squad mates in the SRU team. But the point of this topic is welcome Ben Samiir who gave us so much, back into Argo!

When i got invited to join an SRU Patrol, My eyes went open. I saw how this team worked, full of tactics and small details like how to place your car towards the suspect, Or positioning in combat. I learned alot of SRU patrols when i was cadet.
HOWEVER SRU Was created and brought to high levels by lets say, 1 man, Ben Samiir.
Again you might taken some wrong decisions and might did some wrong actions. But still alot of you and your style of being cop is very unique and effective.

Therefore; Welcome back ben ;)

As for the SRU discussion, it's not needed to discuss this here. As said, it's Ben's welcome back topic, not SRU discussion. Regardless, SRU no longer exists. It was absorbed into SWAT, so there's no reason to argue about it. If you don't agree with SWAT having it, talk to the SWAT leaders. This isn't the place to argue.
