Hello applicant, As result of your applicant I am happy to announce your application has been accepted. You have also been queued into SAPD Academy, in this academy you will learn the core values and procedures that a SAPD Officer must learn and embrace to be able to be the absolute best he possibly can. You will be observed ingame by every member of the SAPD, so it is YOUR responsibility to act professionally at ALL times! From the moment you are accepted onwards, you should be learning the regulations and procedures to be able to carry out your cop work to the absolute best of your ability - this will give you the skills and experience to make it into the SAPD and to continue to be the best cop you possibly can be. The SAPD is not for everyone, so checking out the regulations and procedures will also give you a chance to see whether or not you're cut out for the SAPD or not. You may start lessons on the Academy on 10/11/11. The Academy will exist out of 3 sessions, 1 pre-examination and a final examination, more information about the Academy you can find here. Do NOT forget: you must still reply once a week on your topic with a patrol report. Signed, Paul Caltson SAPD Deputy Chief |
(http://i1013.photobucket.com/albums/af258/Polarr/Academylogo-2.png?t=1303575269) | Session Report Hello cadet Josh_Collin, You have been participating in an Academy training with Senior Officer Larry "Pixy" Faulke. You have completed session 1 and here-by we are sending you the results of your training, please read it carefully. Brief on preformance of cadet: Today we kicked off the training at LSPD. I outlined the cadet the basic rules of the academy. From there on we began our lesson. This was mostly a theoretical lesson so there isn't much that can be said. However throughout the lesson I gave the cadet some quick quizzes to see his basic knowledge in the use of radio codes and reporting on the police radio. We then continued on with the traffic stop role play. Here the cadets performance during the traffic stop roleplay was good. He was able to follow the procedures and was able to deal with most of the situations he might encounter during traffic stops that I threw at him. Some of these situations include an uncooperative man being searched who claims that the cadet cannot search him because he does not have a warrant, a man who fled during the traffic stop etc. Overall though from this point the cadet should and must review the materials that were taught to him during the lesson. Review all of the codes and do more traffic stops when you are on duty. Your next lesson can be done by the earliest on 13/11/11. Rating of your training 8/10 What does my rating mean? 7 - 8 = Good The cadet has a decent grasp and understanding of the materials taught during the session. The cadet made understandable mistakes during roleplay situations that were put into practice. Signed, Larry "Pixy" Faulke SAPD Academy Manager |

(http://i1013.photobucket.com/albums/af258/Polarr/Academylogo-2.png?t=1303575269) | Session Report Hello cadet Collin, Josh, You have been participating in an Academy training with Captain Kelvin 'Sushi' Gould. You have completed session three and here-by we are sending you the results of your training, please read it carefully. Brief on preformance of cadet: The training overall went well, the cadet had a lot to learn about the practical sections of the lesson. First we had the shooting training, taught lag shooting more indepth, experimented with different weapons and situations. Cadet needs to make sure he reviews cover usage and advancement strategies. Needs to make sure he practices more in the field with accuracy with single shot weaponry, and automatic weaponry. Remember protocol with built up areas, and weaponry against vehicles. Shootout strategies, like when to retreat, calling back up and advancing need to be practised too. Pursuit skills, such as the PIT need to be reviewed as well, use it more in the field to ensure that you can use it whenever you get the opportunity in a pursuit. Good initiative with coming out from the side to initiate a TC with a fleeing suspect, but remember that in a pursuit; there might be a primary unit that could be PIT if you fail to take the suspect down. Try to remember that keeping up, or getting ahead isn't always the best way to end the chase, and that sticking behind when possible and leaving room for yourself to make mistakes is a good idea. Try to practice your cruiser skills whenever possible, and try to think along the lines of 'if I drive well without wrecking or disabling myself, the suspect will eventually make a mistake that takes themselves out'. Because in pursuits, the suspect is normally under much more stress then you. Review multiple pursuits, try it in the field, such as taking alternate routes to block suspects. Investigation skills are up to scratch, but try not to be as aggressive or confronting. Keep your calm and remain neutral in emotional display. Try to show more understanding and display your points without displays of personal bias or opinion. Cadet showed good radio usage during the whole session and good discipline in terms of police protocol. Just more training is needed for the practical things like shooting and driving. As well as good roleplay skill as a police officer. Overall the cadet did very well, considering how many news things the cadet had to learn in the relatively short time. Training occurred on the 17th of November from 0800 to 1018 HOURS (CET), at Fort Carson shooting range and motel, Prickle Pine SWAT Facility 01, LV Airport and LSPD Briefing room. Rating of your training 7/10 Signed, Kelvin 'Sushi' Gould SAPD Captain |
