In Windows XP: Start Menu -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Right-Click on the game and choose "Uninstall".
In Windows Vista/7: Start Orb -> Control Panel -> Under Programs click "Uninstall a program" -> Right-Click on the game and choose "Uninstall".
Alternatively you can use your GTA:SA disc used to installing the game to install it again in the same location where you deleted the files from.
If after reinstalling, is it only single-player crashing, or SA:MP? Do you have any modifications installed? Where did you install it to?

Jim, if you want gta3.img. Search on the main forums. You'll find a gta3.img sticky. Good luck..

Reinstalling his game would replace that anyway.

Start Menu > Run > regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > Rockstar Games > Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (Remove all keyslots) (Just right click on GTA SA Folder and remove).
That should remove all GTA SA Directory files making you able to re-install a fresh and clean GTA SA

Or get CCleaner : p
That'll clean out your registry errors.

Don't discuss piracy here. It's not allowed.
Problem solved, and discussion is going into illegal territory. Topic locked.
