To be honest I had a longer message panned out but it made very little sense to a lot of people I imagine. So I'll keep it brief and perhaps update another time.
In July of 2008 I joined Argonath and the police force was the thing I was drawn too. For a while now, I was thinking of resigning, before I went inactive for University too. I've been worn over time and I took very little rest unlike some of my other colleagues other than for school which I would not consider rest.
I found myself detached after losing so much of what I knew, my experience intact, my will otherwise a nub of what it had been when I first joined the SAPD in search of a team of friends ready to battle against anything thrown against them.
I've been serving steadily (between school) for almost 3 years now. It's a long time for someone like me and it seems it's time for me to take a rest. I should have resigned sooner, in fact I prepared a resignation little over a month ago but never wanted to submit it. It's a shame that I waited to be placed into a Senior Officers rank, I preferred to have come back in a blaze of glory helping the department that spawned me grow again before leaving. But to that, we have several Captains ready to/already have replaced me.
I'm assuming this resignation isn't a surprise to many people, with the leaving of several command members over the last few months, I doubt mine was far behind since recent events. LSPD has always been my home and I managed to get to a place where I was able to nurture it into a great department as my predecessors and those ahead of my will continue to do. The people I have worked with have been great, the experiences plenty in both bad and good.
Perhaps one day, I will return and help out the SAPD once more in guiding it towards a greater stage in it's life.
/me walks into his former officer and places his badge and sidearm onto the desk, closes his file and walks out of the department in his civilian clothes
Personal note to those still in the SAPD and striving to join: It has been fun, there will be more fun, I hope I won't be forgotten too soon, perhaps there will be a place for me to help as I once did in the future. I wish the best of luck to those that run the departments and I'm sorry I didn't have the energy to put into the department as I had before, 4 years seemed to be all I had in me.

Very sad day for all LSPD...
When I saw you demoted I couldn't believe that it actually happened, I really hoped to talk to you and perhaps you could come back...now, you resigned. I consider you as a friend and a true leader I had. Back when we were in SWAT (with Ben Samiir) I really enjoyed the patrols done by you...then, after a while when I returned into SAPD and joined LSPD, I hoped once again to be able to work with you, unfortunatelly we did that for...only two weeks I suppose.
It was a honor to work with you, Sushi, and I really hope you will come back soon...

Always considered you as a friend Sushi, whenever we were in SWAT, or SAPD patrols, it was always fun. And let me tell you that you were a great example to everyone, and I mean it. I will really miss you and your Aussie accent on Teamspeak. See you around mate!

Despite our adventures when we both were in LSPD I wish you sincere good luck in whatever you do.
I'm sure there will always be a spot for you in the Command Staff.
