Pursuit
Shortly after our Organised Patrol departed from SFPD, we noticed a man driving quite slow and erratic through Doherty. When SFPD-Bravo attempted to stop the vehicle, the suspect took off in a Blue Station Wagon towards Missionary Hill. As we were swerving down the hills of Missionary Hill, the suspect continued to go at a high rate of speed despite the fact of the dangerous terrain conditions. Suddenly, we approached a large lake. The suspect failed to slow down in time and plunged his 4-Door vehicle into the depths of the sea. Multiple other Officers fell in as well in an attempt to stop from falling down the hill. Once the suspect reached a hill, he was cut off and taken down by SFPD-Alpha, therefore rendering the pursuit and incident, C4.
Drug Trafficking
SFPD-Bravo was patrolling the Doherty area when they came across a suspicious van near the heroin spot. They moved in to investigate although since no one was in the area and the van looked empty, Officers backed off and circled the area searching for any suspicious activity before they returned to normal patrol.
Traffic Stop
Following up on the suspicious activity near Doherty, we came across another vehicle circling the area. SFPD-Bravo attempted to stop the car, multiple times although the man kept accelerating then stopping. This raised some red flags as he may try to run if we do end up stopping him. After instructing the man to turn off the engine, he finally did so and we proceeded to talk to him. After checking for warrants and finding he was clear, we let him go as we had nothing else to follow up on.
