San Andreas Police Department
Organized Patrol Report
Date: 05 12 2012
Time: From 15:30 to 16:44(Server Time)
Type of Operation: ORGANISED PATROL
Operation Outcome: SUCCESSFUL
Operation Leader: Sergeant Def Perry
SAPD Participants:
Officer Richie
Officer Anthrax
Cadet Sam Johnson
Cadet Luke Perry
Other Participants
Officer [MA]Carlo
Operation Summary:
The operation started at the Los Santos Police Department, by a coincidence. At the beginning there were four officers attending. However, During the patrol, the ammount of officers raised. We had a peak of 6 officers patrolling around San Andreas, divided in four cruisers. The units were divived as following;
[] SAPD-Alpha [] Sergeant Perry, officer AnthraX and Johnson.
[] SAPD-Bravo [] ARPD officer Ancelotti and cadet Perry.
[] SAPD-AU [] Officer Richie.
The patrol was full of pursuits and dangerous situations. As we were the only team in-service, officers mostly called us immediately when they were facing trouble.
Incidents:
1. ) Three members of the well known, most wanted, mafia/family ''Gvardia'', were stationary inside an ammunation in El Quebrados. They possibly robbed guns out of the store and were trying to escape from the police after. Our team was engaging as well. We came very close at the Harry Gold Parkway, but suddenly a window rolled down and a white-Italian man hanged out of the window. He was shouting something in a foreign language and opened fire! I left control of the steering and our car was swinging. Officer Anthrax opened the window and aimed at their car. At the of The Strip, he took out their tires after shooting a few rounds.
Consequently, they were not able to drive as fast as before. Several other units showed up and attended the pursuit. They headed to Red County, however their car got disabled at the Fallow Bridge by officer AnthraX. They had to continue their escaping on foot. We jumped out of our vehicle, took cover behind our cruiser and carefully shot with our Model 4 Carbine at them. Other officers rushed them up into the woods and made them leaving the bridge, which wasn't the smartest plan. Three ARPD officers got badly injured by making that manoeuvre.
We entered our car again and approached them. We were the only two units left at the scene, so again, we took cover behind our cruiser and carefully fired at them. This time, instead of running, they rushed to us and tried to kill us from our back. We had to back off a little bit again, however our backup was on-route. When the additional units arrived (SAPD-Bravo), we had enough courage to move up and neutralize the criminals. Our second unit eliminated two of the three injured criminals and we went after the other one. Within 30 seconds the situation was over, none of our team got injured.
2. ) After this adventure, we took a drink at Dillimore and grabbed new equipment's out of the storage. Then we made our way to Los Santos and as soon as we arrived, we were already involved in another shootout. One man, driving on the incorrect lane on a high speed, approached us and we prayed to Sauron for our lives. Quickly, officer AnthraX reported it in the radio and grabbed his megaphone. Instead of stopping, the passenger of the car started shooting. In reaction to that, officer AnthraX disabled their car at Verona Beach. Meanwhile additional units were already on their way to the scene. When they were on foot, SAPD-Bravo arrived. We neutralized one of the two men that opened against fire us, on foot.
Unfortunately, the other passenger, succeeded to escape in a red-colored Premier. We ran back to our car and followed the suspect. In the middle of the chase, when our car still had 3 flat tires, our cruiser flipped. We had to crawl out of it and after some seconds it blew up. Then we returned to the station, grabbed a new vehicle and joined the pursuit again. Cadet Sam Johnson joined us by then and we called in an air unit, officer Richie. From Las Venturas, to Los Santos, thoughout San Fierro and finally to Bayside. When exiting the tunnels of Bayside, my colleague popped his tires. He lost control of the steering wheel and his car got disabled when he tried to enter Las Barrancas. There, he got arrested by other officers.
Conclusion (Include possible improvements):
Overall the patrol was organized and a succes. Our communications were optimized with voice-chat and the radio operators frequently updated their status. Moreover, most of the units were experienced. The shooting skills of some of the attendees really suprised me.
