Title: VCPD: Luca
Post by: Gruia on February 26, 2014, 20:19:43 pm
Nickname in-game: Luca
Age: 12
Favourite weapon: Python
How long have you played on Argonath RPG: July/August 2012
How long have you played as a cop: Like half of the time, looking to be a full-time cop
Have you read the VC:MP related guides in Police Procedures board: Yes
Why do you want to join Vice City Police Department: Because I want to work for the police. I like police work and I would like to give a hand to VCPD.

NOTICE: Due to the current server activity, I may join only in weekend evenings. Of course I am available at other times, too, but playing alone is a little annoying. When there's a police action/scheduled patrol/interview or simply need to talk to me, PM me and I'll try to come in-game aswell

Hi Gruia, great to see your application.

I just had a few questions that I hope you don't mind answering:

- Firstly, I understand that you are an applicant for other ARPD official departments, as well as a serving officer in MTA:SA.
How will this affect your activity in VC:MP in the potential future, and do you think you will be able to manage all roles and bring to them a similar level of commitment?

- You were involved in the SA:MP unofficial group, the Argonath RPG Traffic Authority until about a week ago. You left because you were not happy with its management and possibly, lack of development. In your resignation message you made a few remarks (some highlighted in orange); do you want the organisation to shut down and do you want your resignation to serve as a stimulus for others to follow suit?

I'm sorry to reach this conclusion. TODAY, 3th March 2014 , I resign from ARTA. This resignation has various reason. One of the reasons was that I was the only one that was out there to help the group. I put on all the trainings, I learned them, I made the ranks, the exams system, everything. Our Commander and other members did nothing for this group. Weeks and weeks of hope, I tried to attract lots of members to ARTA, but it didn't work out. I am very sure ARTA members find it that this group is dead and non-interesting. So, today, I resign from ARTA, this group didn't have luck and I might request it's closure, due to the members lack of interest and activity. I am very sure that my resignation will attract a wave of resignations too, because I was the only one requesting our members to work hard and ACTUALLY do something. Good bye ARTA, I liked you, but you are too un-interested and inactive, so I realized I've done all that work without a proper reason. GOOD BYE!

1. Sure thing. I got enough spare time for 3 servers.
2. Yes, the organization should be shut down, as it basically done nothing (that nothing would have been even bigger without me) and NO, I don't want others to resign after my resignation. What I meant is that after my resignation, there will be a wave of resignations, because, I was the only one telling my Cadets to actually do something! As I'm ''out of the equation'' and no other high-ranked member tells them what to do, a wave of resignations will come.

Thanks for your replies.

I see that you did put effort and time into the ARTA project. Do you think you learned a lot from that, and now as you resign, take with you some positive memories and experiences that you could bring to VCPD? VCPD is always looking for ideas and ways of improving. Creators are welcome, positive minds are encouraged. : )

Yes, I could take some positive memories. With all the knowledge I got, I may make a similar traffic division in VCPD. I got all the trainings, exams, all of its systems. All that is needed is members and we can make that traffic division.

What would you say is the benefit of a having an official or unofficial traffic police/authority in Vice City, based on your experience?

Well, it would be good, as usually, officers are too busy to think about traffic's management. So, it would be a benefit, but, as I said, we may need some members in this too.

Back. Activity may be low, because the server is dead once again, and playing alone is time-losing and boring.

PROMOTED

Rank: VCPD Officer (VC:MP)

It was good to see you in the Academy, training alongside other Cadets this weekend.
Over the last few days, we have organised operations, practiced driving techniques and worked on combat and teamwork.
I have used the feedback received from fellow officers and my own evaluation to make the final decision on your application. I am deciding to qualify you as an Officer today because of the interest you've shown for Argonath and the server. You demonstrated a good awareness of police procedures and responded well to the call outs received during patrol. Be sure to work on your communication skills as you'll need them out on the field, not only to work as an effective member of the team, but also to assist citizens!

I wish you the best of luck.

Congratulations and welcome to the Vice City Police Department!
