Mauricio_Gagliano - Abusive behaviour, vehicle theft, attempt of destroy legal documentation, aggressive towards detained suspects, assaulting his fellow co-workers, false accusations, making fun of a civilians last name
Description of events:
I, a EMS doctor have been informed through my radio that vehicle theft has been in progress of my bike, so I followed what was happening, after seeing who was driving the bike I pulled them over, it was Timon, the suspect was detained and brought to LSPD, where we had a investigation in which at the behinning officer Mauricio didn't want any part in, forcing the suspect to go to jail even though his rights haven't been read to him, after reading the rights he still did not understand that Timon had the right to an investigation, after that officer Gruia came in, and calmed down the officer after taking some hits from Mauricio's batton. At the beginning of the investigation he said that he was driving the vehicle, which was mine, thus he stole it , commiting grand theft auto, he than proceeded to tell everyone that it wasn't my bike, at which point I drove to the bike, took it to the garage, there I was greeted by said officer, I held out my documents, he attempted to take them and light them on fire, thankfully Gruia and Timon came out the LSPD in time. After Timon was proven innocent we went inside the building, at which point Maurcio started shooting everywhere, spraying down Timon, punching Gruia, punching me, thankfully the events were recorded by the indoor LSPD camera.

Hello there! This is officer [EMS]Gruia, and I am one of the witnesses. Here's my side of the story:

I was standing at LSPD. A police car with a suspect and a paramedic arrives. I soon found out that the paramedic was there as a legal representative of the suspect. All 3 went inside and I followed them. The suspect requires an investigation but officer Mauricio Gagliano shouts that they need to go to jail. I read out their rights and say that they have rights to get an investigation. In annoyance, officer Gagliano begins the investigation, randomly shouting things as ''I DIDN'T ASK YOU TO SAY THAT!'' and then, after I see this behaviour, I take lead of the investigation. It seems like the suspect stole a bike. But after closer investigation, his legal representative shows me some papers which prove that the bike is owned by him, and the suspect was allowed to use that vehicle. I tell him to bring the aforementioned vehicle to the police garage. After he brings it, I go to check it, and he said the truth. The bike was owned by him. At this point in the investigation, officer Gagliano was ACTUALLY the one found guilty of the suspect's crime, using the bike without being allowed. The suspect and the legal representative were the eye-witnesses of him driving the bike whilst not being allowed. Then we all go back to the investigation room, where I close the investigation, suspect being not guilty, but instead, the officer being GUILTY of the crime himself. I also have to add that at random points throughout the investigation, when things didn't go ''the officer's way'', he was randomly shooting or kicking the suspect, the legal representative or his co-workers.

In conclusion, Officer Mauricio Gagliano is guilty of the following acts:

-completely unrespectful behaviour to suspects/co-workers
-refusal/failure to read out the suspect's rights and to allow them an investigation
-randomly shooting or kicking people when things didn't go ''his way''
-negating that he was guilty of the crime HIMSELF (thus driving an unmarked vehicle)


This story is 100% truthful, and it wasn't influenced by neither of the parties involved into this complaint.

STATEMENT IN REGARDS TO THE CLOSURE OF THIS REPORT

On July the 21st 2014, at 16:00 HOURS a report was submitted by Jaka Banks as a lawful citizen of the United States of Argonath.
Since then, an investigation has been conducted by the SAPD command staff member:
- SAPD Staff Sergeant Nexus Dean Riggs

The summary and conclusion of the report has now been decided and will be released to the public.

-- Officer Mauricio Gagliano has blatantly violated an apprehended suspect by assaulting him with deadly force after losing his composure. Officer Gagliano also insulted his colleagues during processing, which classifies his act as unprofessional and improper.

-- Officer Mauricio Gagliano has also failed to properly process a suspect and read their constitutional rights prior to arrest, which classifies himself as an incompetent officer. 

-- Officer Mauricio Gagliano is guilty of the charges described above. Additionally Gagliano violated several rules of the SAPD regards to maintaining professionalism and respectful behavior on duty. Few accusations against Gagliano were not considered due to lack of evidence.

-- In conclusion, Officer Mauricio Gagliano will be issued 3 days suspension from police duty.

If the verdict of this report seems unfair to anyone, you can report this to a Deputy Chief via the ARPD Forum PM and we might reopen the case if your argument is valid enough.
