Title: In-Game Gangs and ARPD
Post by: beefums on June 30, 2007, 00:48:48 am
It was suggested a while ago that cops should not be able to be members of in game gangs. At first I did not agree with this statement, however I changed my mind.

As a member of an "in-game gang", I was requested to leave certain people alone because they were allies of my "gang". Here is the issue: how can someone role-play effectively if they must leave certain people alone? Or, how can someone role-play effectively if; while on their gang name, someone is patroling and bypasses people of their own gang or cancels the suspect of their gang or allies?

The fact is it will lead toward bias in-game. Therefore, as of today I have left my in-game association and will not join any other in-game "mafia" "gang" or other crime organization. As of today, I am strictly ARPD.

As far as gaming clans - I think those are fine.

These are simply my opinions.

I didn't see it on the other forum. But I posted there as well.
