I am fairly certain everyone is aware of the following rule that has caused so much controversy and complaints;
"You lose suspection and must leave the vehicle containing the other suspects"
We are hereby revoking that rule and from this point onward it is no longer in effect. The rule was designed during a different phase in the community and simply doesn't make sense any more.
HQ has listened to the arguments and complaints sent in by the players and this is the outcome. We hope this will ease things up a little more.
In essence, you no longer have to leave the vehicle when you lose suspection, you may now stay with your friends until the end, be that the end of your life or until you all have escaped successfully. The choice is yours. :cowboy:
tl;dr
When a suspect escapes he is not obligated to leave the car, and he may be re-suspected.
-
Also note that only in case that the suspect/s go inside his/their HQ, other members of the family/group can assist if they were not part of RP when the person/s were suspected. If someone was not a part of RP then they cannot aid.
-
Well in my opinion you just stay in the car to kill cops... great our work gets a little easier by this.
-
Well, it makes sense that the rule has been removed. It had always been peculiar.
Thanks for the update!

So.. Now suspects can still aid after evading? There goes the balance.

Yep.
Oh well lets hope that at least the escaping distance is fixed and most of the other cop scripts missing.

Well, it only goes for suspects that evade when they are a passenger in a car, for instance. (The driver also being a suspect.) They are no longer forced to leave. However, if they leave and then return, I think the same rule applies to any other civilian joining in: you cannot join unless you were in the RP. I think them evading means they are no longer in the RP.

What balance...
Why must scripters make a balance?
People choose to play a role...
It's not a death match server...
What actually equates to balance??
Money? The choice of who gets shot and who doesn't??
Maybe the person getting shot is much more happy to be shot? Would that be unbalanced to the one not getting shot?

This isn't a discussion. It's a post to inform the officers. If you have something against it go to the main forums. Thanks.
