Well I was hoping few officers would figure this out on their own, but I guess not everyone catch up as fast, therfore I will just bring the attention to it myself.
With the recent changes to the police faction and more specifically the application only system, ARPD forces on SA:MP server have been given chance to take a fresh approach of RP and not the old bullshit approach, which was officers were forced to respond to every orange dot, since it might end up in to a DM fest otherwise.
Now we are given the chance to operate based off RP scenarios and proper policing methods, regardless of how your RP approaches it, I want for the officers to forget about /su for a bit and focus on the situations at hand.
You see without the orange dot color, SAPD would have only 2 ways to distginguish a criminal out of a civilian and they are warrants and BOLOs. Now I want officers for next few days to forget that /su exists on the server and attempt to perform their job like this, based off communication and pure RP skills. That means you are allowed to only /su after you've taken the person in custody, he was found guilty and he has been sentenced to serve prison time. That includes no suspecting for "evading traffic stop" or etc.. those suspections will only come after you've arrested the person.
An example of that would be, if a suspect evades a traffic stop and you engage in pursuit, you report the pursuit in and then officers respond to him, you attempt to take him in as safely as possible and you do not utilize the /su command, unless the suspect opens fire towards an civilian or a law enforcment member. If for example the police looses the suspect, then they can place a BOLO on his vehicle, if by any chance you've found RP means of obtaining his identity, for example he evaded after showing you his ID in a traffic stop, then you can put straight up BOLO on that person. That's basically how BOLO system works.
About warrants, that's a little different approach, since warrants can only be released by Chief of Police, FBI Director, Commissioner or court, we will do it following way if an officer spots a crime on a person, they can go to one of the mentioned authorities, provide evidence and request warrant. Which if given out, can be executed by either few police officers or a task force if needed, depending on the criminal's danger level and crime.
Now I understand this is unusual for some of you, but I want you all to spend next few days opening your horizons and attempting to better yourself and allow the police job to become an actual RP occupation and not just spam of /su command and DM feasts. I am not saying all the officers are doing it, but there is some who think so, hence why I am bringing this straight up.

Alright one small thing on this. We do RP a situation at ganton corleone and luciano etc arecthere and a massive shootout breaks out. In my opinion suspection is in this part really needed t track them down later isnt it? At least we can use it with MDC later.

Will do my best, sir! :hank:

This is going to be interesting to watch
I am expecting command members to do more then just watch, but rather spread the example :cop:

This is a system I used, along with a few others I'd normally patrol with, before the police restriction. Good to see SAPD headed in this direction.

A lot of us did, but problem is a lot of people used the fact that SAPD was an open system as a excuse. Now nobody has the ability to use that excuse and I am expecting the officers to pull off certain standards.

Hence I probably(certainly) need to watch myself/the topic
It does seem easy to adapt though, so I expect little issue.

Wonderful. Whatever encourages more interaction and roleplay with the public and internally is always a plus. Hope to see some more high-end standards come to fruition.

Another main thing about all of this is fair play, which means accept when you've lost the suspect and don't attempt to catch him based off non-RP sources.
For example, if you didn't see the plate of the car or description of the person driving it, but you've seen the color and model, you can only chase that person while he is using that car with the same color, the moment he changes the color he is no longer really wanted, since you have no way of figuring out its him. If you see the car plate, that's a different story, but I want you all to remember FAIR PLAY, don't make up shit to try to catch up with a person, this system is ment to provide RP scenarios, not unfair advantage to the officers.

Until MDC is rewritten and colors are removed, this will not have an affect. In addition, any law enforcement who identified a suspect via MDC once implemented will be able to intervene with appropriate measures.
