Dear ARPD chiefs and webmasters,
As you all may have noticed, the ARPD main page is rarely updated anymore. Also, when it is updated, it's always and only by Ber, and by no one else. Whatever happened to SA:MP chiefs posting on it? What about posting a little more often than once every few months? Please...do something about this. It's ridiculous. The first news ever listed on there is still visible from the front page's "popular" section due to the lack of new posts, and that was posted almost two years ago! I beg of you...please make the site more active and up to date...

There is a distinct lack of access from the SAPD senoir staff... as in we do not have access rights to do anything there..

Honestly, I think you guys need to link those front page stories through a portal to a section for news like that in the forums. Then, give senior officers and above rights to create topics there. That way, it stays active and it can be used correctly. As for the site, yes, some stuff does need work. Honestly I'd like to see some more skins for it too as the light blue is starting to get dull all the time. The forum itself is also very basic and I'm not too sure on the security of this board. I would recommend getting PHPBB3 as it is free, secure, and much more powerful. Also, the either the webhost or the files need to be fixed/optimized because the site takes forever and a day to load. That is not very professional, nor is it convenient. If you would like some assistance, I do know some HTML and I can help the best I can. If you want an example of some of my work, PM me and I can send you a link to my own website.
:ps: May I suggest throwing in some Macromedia/Adobe Flash stuff in here? It would make the site really cool and flashy, (no pun intended). A link back to the main (portal) page from the forums would be nice too.

We are all against PHPBB scritps, because they are MUCH more unstabe and unsecure.
SMF has also much more functions than PHPBB, at least in administrating :)
About Main Page, we have to wait until RON and Ronnel will be back.

Unstable? Dude, have you been keeping up to date? PHPBB3 is much more secure than this version of SMF...
What do you mean be back? Where did they go?
