Title: One Bravo Seven
Post by: James_Hunter on February 20, 2009, 20:00:26 pm
Hey guys, i'm away for the weekend due to advanced infantry training finally starting! I passed basic training, there are three of these weekends - firing off machine guns, rifles and so on with live rounds down range, 6 mile combat fitness tests, etc - all leading up to the 2 week period that i'll be away in the final training stage in Catterick (March). I'll see you soon! /salute

I r back ^^

Shooting is a lot of fun, but damn it needs a lot of concentration, one bloke fired off on automatic rather then repitition haha it was right next to me and I was like o_O thats not right! My feet are f**ked beyond recognition, I arrived with blisters and they developed on the 2 mile speed run / 3 mile endurance run / beasting, etc and had to goto the Medic to have them cleaned with Iodine and skin cut off (Ouch); apparently she was very impressed that I managed to complete the combat fitness run with that state of feet, everyone helps each other so that helped carry on afterwards and during our troop runs, I was determined to pass the weekend, so.. one step closer to the end of training! Hopefully my feet will heal before the next one now.

P.S A mate took a lot of pictures of our section from the weekend, so ill post them when he sends me 'um if you like.
