Hello,
With this notice, I announce my decision to resign from the Los Santos Police Department. It's been a ride, had our ups and downs, but it was cool being one of you guys. If I was running the department, I wouldn't want my officers to be redundant. Therefore, I think it's simply the right decision to resign, there's always a point where the time comes, in the end.
Unfortunately, with this, I also announce the shutdown of the Detective Bureau. There's simply no activity left within it, the majority of the division resigned and I believe that it's an unwarranted redundancy. I wish nothing but the best of luck to any and all investigative divisions that are either currently running or are planned for the future. This style of roleplay is underestimated and can be a lot of fun if done the right way.
If the command wishes to keep the group running or appoint a new Inspector, I wish them and any new personnel the best of luck.
Finally, a special thank you to the retired personnel of the Detective Bureau - you guys were very fine roleplayers, and I enjoyed every roleplay with you guys.
Also, a thank you to the rest of the department - it's been my pleasure serving alongside you.
Regards,
Retired Officer Kowalski

Take care Kowalski. It's been a good ride.

Luther, you were by far one of the best deputies anyone could ask for. Working with you in the Detective Bureau and investigating crimes was a great experience, and that is something I will definitely miss.
It has indeed been a good ride, but I'll see you around!

Thank you for your contributions to LSPD during your time here Kowalski. Detective Bureau was our most active subgroups and you should be proud of your achievements despite the inactive server environment and timezone difficulties.
I hope the new development will give you inspiration as it will certainly be requiring detective groups (whether working under LSPD or not) in the new era.
Best wishes for the future,
Jcstodds

Although we had our ups and downs together, but I wish you best of luck with your future careers, kowalski!

Seeing this made my day. I'm sorry I couldn't have done more, but I think the Detective Bureau was a wonderful division and having worked on it was a pleasure.
It's been wonderful under your leadership, and it's been my pleasure. However with my increasing studies IRL and my commitment to the FBI, I just don't think I can give the attention to the LSPD that an Officer should.
Thanks again, Chief, it's been an honor.
Although we had our ups and downs together, but I wish you best of luck with your future careers, kowalski!
Been good working with you, Cap'n. I wish you the same!
To everyone else in the department, all the best, and I'm always free for consultations on cases, or to give advice here and there, or even to ride shotgun with, I'll still be around here and there! ;)
See you around!

Well, you know me, I won't be sugarcoating it like the others.
First of all, thank you for your service, regardless. Despite our fundamental disagreements regarding a lot of things, I have to applaud your dedication, and that extends far further than just LSPD.
I think you did the right thing, and not because of the inactivity question, but because you have more often than not spoken out against LSPD in general in disagreement with a lot of ways that it operates. And this is completely fine. What is not fine, however, is doing that behind the back of said organisation.
This is why I welcome your decision. Standing by one's word and principles is something that deserves my respect.
Good luck with your VCPD-FBI career and whatever other endeavours you might have. I am certain that a position for you would be open in the future were you to have a change of heart.

Talking behind the department's back would only serve to be pointless, there's no doubt that a few people, including myself, would be doing a couple of things differently, and may not entirely agree with a thing or two. That's just difference in perspective though, nothing wrong with that. :)
I appreciate your honest message, it means a lot. I have no regrets having served the LSPD and built up the Detective Bureau, it's been a pleasure to have served with all of the officers within the department.
Thanks for the kind words, Huntsman, and best of luck to you too. ;)
