Title: Tearing up the Resignation Papers

Since I am technically still a Officer of the San Andreas Police Deparmant, I am posting my resignation. I was infact reinstated as a Officer of the SAPD and I planned on staying until other recent events lead me to come to this conclusion.

I have been apart of the Argonath community for well over 8 months. I have a rooted background of Law Enforcement in this community being apart of both the San Andreas Police Department, and the San Andreas Sheriff's Division. I was graceful enough to make it up the ranks in the SAPD as a Sergeant and up the ranks of the SASD as the Under Sheriff. I am now moving my career towards the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) as I was just accepted as a FBI Field Cadet. I will truly miss everyone in the San Andreas Police Deparment and I would like to thank the people who have really aided and helped me along the way. Its saddens me to leave because I didn't ever think I would, but I can no longer support or go along with the unstructured flaws in my opinions of this Department. I have to truly say that I have lost alot of trust and faith in the Command Staff in this Department. I bid this agency well and I am sure that you all will get back on track on day! Good Luck! I'm a firm believer of when the shit hits the fan, just stand in front and face the music. Either way, I wish you good luck, and hope lessons are learn't for anyone involved in events leading up to this.

Although you had your issues at times, you have proved yourself and I'm very impressed. You have kept calm throughout preceding incidents, and I want to congratulate you for your efforts. A good officer who has changed himself for the better will be lost, but an agent of the FBI will be gained.

Dear Chief Pancher and Captain Thomas Crof,

I know that the FBI may reject me for this, but I am willing to go out on a limb. If the limb don't sustain me, I hope that I don't hit the ground too hard. I Shawn Edwards has recently made a huge mistake and would like to fix it. Recently, I wrote up a resignation letter and I hereby regret it. First I will like to say sorry for leaving the San Andreas Police Department the wrong way, and for letting you and the rest of the San Fierro Police Department down. I miss the SAPD and I want to come back, but hear me out before you make a decision. I miss having that relationship that the SAPD has with the community of Argonath. I miss the day to day, regular traffic stops, and 911 disturbance calls. I want to be out there on the streets serving this community and not stuck behind a desk. Even though there are minor problems with SAPD, I should have been able to work through it, and if granted this opportunity, I will work through it. I thought FBI was the place I wanted to go because I was so mad at the SAPD, and I got blinded by my own anger. SAPD has my heart ,and there is a saying that your heart is where your treasure is. When I lost SAPD, I lost a part of my heart and I want to retrieve it back.

I was dumb and stupid for letting SAPD go like I did. Everyone makes mistakes and this is a mistake that I will admit that I made. I will not let pride get in the way of trying to get the job that I love back. This will never happen again. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of SAPD. I been here since April and the only reason I came to Argonath was to join the SAPD and it looks that I got more then I expected. Why else am I still here? I know I have said many wrong things and I am sorry for those things. I admit up to my mistakes and I wanna make a change, and today that change has came. I wanna prove that I can be better then what I am. If I am allowed back in the SAPD, I will hold my peace and not speak out of turn. I will not disrespect or make any attempts of flames. I want to be the best that I can be and that is in SAPD. I will not let you or my team down ever again, and I have spoken with other people regarding this before I came to you, and many support my decision in wanting to come back. I made a huge mistake of leaving in the first place I learned my lesson.

Why is there a reason to be mad? I am going to be still in Law enforcement and I will still be able to work with you all in the FBI. Louis, I know that this can be frustrating but don't be selfish and as a friend, you should support my decision in following my heart. Just like I said, the FBI is well structured and has great training, but its not for me. I went out on a limb to do this, and I am quite proud of myself. You can think what you want, but I still respect you guys in the FBI and I will continue to work with you all. But I have to return to the SAPD. This is where I belong.

I have made my decision to return. Topic Locked.
