If I would join legal farm family, will it give me lower SAPD career chances ?

it doesnt matter which group you in, if you're active in SAPD it won't lower any chance of promotion

If you're in a mafia though the max rank you can get is sergeant, lieutenants can't be part of a criminal group

Just my point of view.

well, It's fully legal Farm Family to have fun, and grow potatoes, and I am very active in SAPD :)
Cause, I want to make career in SAPD, and perhaps some good day, get invited to some very special and tactical group  ;)

You are allowed to join any group/clan/family, but if the group/clan/family is criminal, max rank will be Sergeant.
I hope this explains all. The group you are talking, is legal and allowed.
