I know you guys must be reading enough of these on the SA:MP general section but why not post one here? :D


I want to start off with a couple things.. and I feel it would be right of me to actually give my side from back in the day, some of you will remember, some won't. A long long time ago.. I used to have this rank, and I couldn't believe it the day that it happened. I had that same feeling coming home today and thought that I had been forgotten, which had me pretty down, thinking that I was forgotten about and wasn't important.. some sort of sad-face feeling like that, I'm pretty sure most of you know what I'm talking about. And because of that I was able to get that feeling I did that long time ago when I was promoted to Deputy, I was surprised.. I honestly thought that the SAPD announcement at City Hall was about Jay :D I want to continue what happened back then though..

It's a long time ago, and I honestly can't remember it all right now but the one thing I can still see clearly in me head is that lovely report on me by the infamous Oliver, who I'm pretty cool with now. (Go figure :lol:) I showed everyone that day that I was too full of myself, and felt that I could do whatever I wanted because of my rank, without thinking through it. Even though I shouldn't have used /winch like that, and probably never should've kicked Oliver I am telling all of you right now.. that wasn't the reason I was demoted. It was a combination of a lot of things, and this is from cb himself.. I realized (too late) that I was too full of myself, especially after closing a report against myself. I had not been thinking things through and that's what finally snapped me. So no, to all of you thinking that a simple incident like that got me demoted it wasn't just the case.

After that I'll be honest.. I was stubborn and honestly didn't do anything as Captain for the next say week and a half, two weeks, because of how surprised I was and how much I wanted to be able to get it off my mind.. but after realizing that it was either I turn myself around and prove that I can pick myself up off the ground and get back to where I was I did so... for a pretty long period of about 7 months.. which definitely was well worth it. Like a friend told me.. I did actually learn a lot and not just say I knew what I did wrong and get my rank back, I went through a lot, and even though it seemed I was already doing everything like I used to just with the rank of Captain, I took it as pride in myself instead of a want.

Enough of my little rants though.. and down to what I'm really here to say. I'm sorry. I know I was a complete asshole to a lot of you back when I was a Deputy Chief, a few of them being FlameMan.. Jay, and others who I don't remember at this point. This is a real apology and I just want to start myself off by showing all of you that I'm not going to (or at least try my HARDEST) f**k up and act like that to anyone again.. regardless of my rank. Everyone gets pissed off and has their bad days, but you have to take that into consideration.. and I have to do that as well when it comes to all of you.

Still even if you have taken the time to read this all, some of you are probably still thinking "Great, look who's back.." or something of the sort, and I'm gathering up the courage, taking the initiative, growing some balls, whatever you'd like to call it.. I am posting this here to show you that I'm not here to take revenge on who did this to me back then, but leave the past in the past and move on.. and to help make SAPD the division of the ARPD it used to be. An awesome one. The SAPD with organization, lead by people you can go to when you need help, with the type of employees who are willing to pickup a stranded civilian, help teach freecops how to be better law enforcement and encourage them to apply for the SAPD, and work as a team. My main goal back as Deputy is to bring back that family feeling as well as the professionalism that we had.

Again, I'm sorry for acting like I did that long time ago... and this is a real apology to those who were affected by it, I never had a chance to say it.. so there it was.Thank you for reading :)

Well Vince, When i saw your promotion i thought to myself... "Shit, The Vince i know and love is going to go back and be the asshole he used to be." Well, As i can see you apparently learned from your mistakes made last time and turned yourself around. Back then you Yelled at me countless times for complaining about a freecop abusing me, you Banned me for a bug (xD), and you tried to get SACS shut down...

Once you got close to Jake, I became friends with you and started working with you on a personal level, and a professional level.
And i just want to say that i'm glad you will not be returning to the Old Vince.
Because quite frankly, I enjoy hanging around with you. Weather its during a 207, or chilling out in ventrilo just playing around.

Welcome Back Vince, You will do wonders as Deputy Chief. I'm possitive.

The time he's referring to was long before SACS or SASD. You are the new kids on the block in comparison to the time he's referring to. :cop:

@Vince: You already know how I feel as I said it to you personally my friend. Keep up the good work. Like I said before, revive SAPD and make it shine the way you did to LSPD! :)

I still run LSPD, and a Captain may/will be chosen as my aid to directly run the department.

Vince that was very nice, and I would just like to say. I think that when you were a captain you really did a good job and you PUT ON PUT ON FOR YOUR CITY PUT ON FOR YOUR CITY ON ON FOR YOUR CITY AHAHAhahahah Well good luck man. Seems that ARPD is almost finished getting its command set back up  :) Hopefully now with all the command members that everything will strengthen and we will become a more disciplined police department.  :cop:

I remember that day. I read the report and I thought Oliver was making a joke... He wasn't, however. As you've stated, you have changed. But this wasn't from day 1. After the report, you indeed turned into a dick and - at least, how I gone through that - didn't think of anyone than yourself. You and I were no longer the same "team" we used to be. I think, and I cannot say this with all I have, because I haven't been back for long, you've changed.

But you weren't the only one who changed after smelling the "power" the captain rank gives you. I changed too, after I had been a captain for a while. I too thought I could do anything, without people daring to stand up against me. One of the reasons (and it was just a little part) I quit SAPD and Argo :)

I think I am good example of someone who had been an asshole and changed completely..
You deserve second chance, and another, and another if will need anytime..

First of all thank you for all of your kind words, it is really appreciated, especially seeing it from a few people. :)

No one knows what is going to happen in the future.  I'm pretty sure every is aware of the phrase "Assumption makes a you-know-what out of you and me."
The bottom line is, Vince apologized for his previous actions. Admitting your own mistake... I find it very difficult to do so. One should not "assume" the fact that Vince is going to make a same mistake.  Instead of expecting Vince to make a same mistake, we should encourage him to carry on.  Food for thought.

Yeah, Vince is actually a real hustla' for Inferno 9. I believe Vince is only UC in ARPD to funnel information to the Tank.

  I didn't even know you and Vincent Vice were the same until recently. I vaguely remember a serious cop Vincent Vice... I don't think I had much to do with SAPD command back then. But Vince you are a great guy to RP with now and that's what counts!
