Post by: Bobby Duke on April 01, 2010, 21:44:31 pm: Sorry to say, I think it is time for me to finish my time in SAPD. It has been fun and all, but I feel I am lacking from my duties in SAPD, and have too much on my plate with being a Ranger in SASD. I just do not have the time to be in both departments at once, working on reports and other things.

Because of this I know I will never be promoted or recognized for anything, and don't want to weigh SAPD down with officers that are not active enough for there department. I also feel that there is corruption in the department and don't want to be a part of it.

So, it was fun, see you guys around ;)

He never said anything about SFPD, for one Jimmy. He's retiring from the whole SAPD, not just SFPD....So, techinical sense, he's talking about SAPD and not SFPD.

And this will have a detrimental affect on the unoffical group SASD.

I knew this was comign and is one of many signs of a failure of many to listen and understand.

Well you can forget ANY police work Bobby, its a PERMANANT cop ban, and I will be advising ALL command staff to PERMAMANTLY ban ANY cops leaving SAPD for SASD

I am NOT leaving to devote my time to SASD, I am leaving because I have to much other things going on in my life to be on the forums every day. I like to go on the server, play as a cop and go on with my life. I am sorry that I have been lacking my duties of SAPD, and some of my duties to the team of SASD.

If I am still going to be cop banned then fine, but I don't think its right.

It amazes me how you guys can force someone to stay in SAPD. That's pretty much what you guys are doing, just not directly. Telling someone they can't leave SAPD for SASD, or else they'll be cop banned is really unbelievable. I think people have the freedom to choose which department they work for.

That's like working for a real life police department, resigning due to whatever reason, and the chief of police calls every other department in the county and telling them that they can't work for them.

Like I said, I'm not a part of ARPD so I have no right to post here, but I'm just stating how I feel.

Bobby left SAPD because he didn't feel he could stick up to the expectations of SAPD AND hold his rank and responsibilities in SASD.

SASD is a group of people who have a strong bond and family tie to them. Bobby felt it was more necessary to leave SAPD, but still do work as a freecop, instead of having to quit SASD all together. It's not about "OMG SASD IS STEALING ARPD" or "OMFG SASD IS MAKING OWN DEPARTMENT LAWL" - It's the pure fact that Bobby couldn't keep up to what ARPD expected of him, and he doesn't want to quit SASD because he feels at home in our group.

That's like telling Pancher he's going to be cop-banned because he has too much work with [Rstar], and quits SAPD - SAME EXACT THING, except Rstar isn't a cop group.

And I swear to God, the next person who says that SASD is splitting off making their own Department, or ruining ARPD, is going to get my AR15 shoved up their ass. Try to actually LEARN about a group, or their leadership, before you make statements like that....

This appears to be a person leaving the ONLY police department for a group to do police work......

I will not enforce anything here but consider how its looking, and actually this seem to show that SAPD seems less important that SASD, consider how that looks too!

Back in 2.1, ARPD was unofficial, and there we're at least 2 other major Police groups..And they all did their job, now, someone makes another and there's this whole shit that the other is trying to take over ARPD..And ARPD thinks that their superior than any other police group that exists..*sigh*.
