Title: Cops having 9mm insted of DGL

They do have good effect but you need to be in a team. If a suspect is running off it's pretty good to catch them.

Alright if you or whoever likes it want to use it, use it then, but I am sure the Chiefs won't force all SAPD units to use 9mm pistol as its pretty crazy idea which will put all SAPD lives in danger as this weapon deal less damage then a knife. And this weapons reminds me more for DM server then RP one.

you see a couple of gangsters shooting each other wielding combat shotguns, m4s, ak47s, and desert eagles. Now you go up to them. They see you and start shooting you with their state of the art weapons. And what do you have? A piece of shit gun that damages like 2 hp. You will be killed in about 5 seconds. Second 9mms are unrp SA:MP does not support the script where you can hold them like a cop. And they are unrp because people don't shoot 9mms while running in circles its retarted. Third what the hell is wrong with a deagle???? It is the best gun in SA:MP. It causes the most damage it is the most effective, and it is fun to use. It can take out someone in about 3 hits. While a 9mm takes outs someone in like 30 hits and 9mms are the worst guns in SA:MP. Ask yourself do you think you can fight the combat shotgun wielding gansters these days with a 9mm?

And Alex I have used 9mms in dm servers they suck shit

Colt 45 is real bad, it does really low damage, really short range, gangster aiming, bad accuracy, overall it sucks.
Deagle is the best pistol, does high damage, short range, cop aiming, good accuracy, this is the best pistol.

You don't expect deagle having a range of a sniper..

If you add 9mm as normal cop weapon lots of ppl will stop being be a cop, because they will be unable to take out someone, not even do a scratch.

IRL cop dont use 9mm like gangsters, as i said, there is NO way to make cops shooting 9mm like in single player.

But no, issued by default is not viable. 9mm is vulnerable if you ain't backed up.

9mm has the advantage of mobility, plentiful ammunition, and a large clip. But it takes a helluva lot of ammo to take down a single guy.

D Eagle trades all that for stopping power, about 10 - 20 times more punch than a 9mm shot. Taking about 4 - 5 placed shots to bring a guy down.

In the end, it's all about skill with the weapon, if you're skilled enough to fight with the D Eagle, you can take on even a punk with a Combat. Not that I've seen anyone who can do that so far.

But for me, no. The Eagle stays.

It is. I usually only use a running weapon if; I'm heavily outnumbered, target is about to die and it's more convenient to give him a quick spray, or if the target is extremely laggy (400+).
