Are SAPD members allowed to use pepper spray to force suspects /gu? when suspect doesn't shows weapons and just walking..
-
From what I know, yes. I do it when I try to get someone to surrender.
-
Actually I've heard it is not allowed, because it's lack of ''RolePlay'', awaiting more responses.

"If SAPD tries to enforce the rule to /gu, they are going against server rules, and cops who enforce this will be copbanned."
-
As i know,if the suspect is unarmed cops can use pepper spray and Nightstick.

Well, don't expect then we run like morons behind you to spray, we will just shoot you.

pepper sprey or nite stick untill they surrender or /gu is allowed. Your not allowed to use guns on a standing still, unarmed suspect is all.

This should explain it better:

Always escalate the use of force.
Verbal Warnings -> Increased Verbal Warnings -> Hands on force.

Good point. Just like to note so users aren't confused, that should be "as needed". :cop:

And lastly remember that as SAPD you are to exhaust every possible RP option (as long as the criminal is showing minimal RP) possible before simply standing there spraying them telling to /gu. Roleplay using /me, because remember if they say they give up or put their hands up they are bound to comply... question answered, topic locked.
