I look forward to meeting both new and old members of the current "blue force" if re-instated.

I wish to work on a general patrol response basis and assist the SAPD in their rapid response and control and cordoning of criminally involved environments, military training will ofcourse provide a fantastic means of assistance towards this goal - especially with soldiers taking on such a role of policing in Afghanistan in this day and age.

I certify that all information is true and correct.
James Hunter.

Hello,

I took periods of absence but not reinstatements. If i've not listed any prior reinstatements then it's by mistake more than anything else, it has been a while. This is my first re-application to the SAPD.

I would like anyone to stop pulling out false accusations. James Hunter did not left and joined several times, you might be confused with Jay Adams. James Hunter has been worth a lot to the SAPD and left due to real life issues, so I think it's inappropriate to just throw those "invalid facts" at him.

I really hate to point this out but James, please amend your application format. Additionally, your application is missing one final detail.

Refer to these threads; http://arpd.argonathrpg.com/forum/index.php?topic=19998.0 (http://arpd.argonathrpg.com/forum/index.php?topic=19998.0) and http://arpd.argonathrpg.com/forum/index.php?topic=20016.0 (http://arpd.argonathrpg.com/forum/index.php?topic=20016.0)

S.A.P.D Short Patrol Report #001
Serve & Protect

Officers: James Hunter / [R*]Pancher / Dutchy / Renz0 / Jay Adams / Jeremone J. Froyan / AirOrel
Timings: 9am-11am / 5pm-7pm
Date: 13/01/2012

Account:

A series of traffic stops evolving in to high speed pursuits, often ending in high profile shoot-outs kept the patrolling officers busy during the morning. How-ever in the evening thorough encouragement was given to officers relying on "escalation drills" where we would respond to the situation with appropriate force, deaths of suspects where avoided and non-lethal arrest methods where sought instead, this was due to taking notice of how aggressive the police force responds to 9-1-1 calls.

Radio communication and teamspeak was utilized at all times in effort to build up a cohesive blue force approach to enforcing the law in San Andreas, rather than working alone.

S.A.P.D Short Patrol Report #002
Serve & Protect

Officers: James Hunter / Jonny O'Sullivan
Timings: 11am-2pm
Date: 14/01/2012

Account:

The patrol was initiated in Los Santos, sparking off with shadowing a suspicious group of men in black vehicles, which when an officer pulled over in San Fierro proceeded to engage said officer with combat shotguns, turning on my own squad car made attempts on my life until I found sanctity inside SFPD, radioing for support. The convicts where hunted down and pacified one by one across the city. Upon return to regular patrol a series of traffic stops and low-profile pursuits and arrests was all that followed.

S.A.P.D Short Patrol Report #003
Serve & Protect

Officers: James Hunter / Jonny O'Sullivan / Oliver Daniels / Jay Adams
Timings: 11am-4pm
Date: 15/01/2012

Account:

During this patrol shift officers where involved in protective custody detail as a manhunt took place on a reported assailant, providing well-being and safety until the suspect was successfully detained. Other incidents worth mentioning was the delaying tactic we employed as a suspicious car was following the victim, acting out a popped tire which blocked the vehicle from perusing the squad car that was ferrying the man away from harm.

Patrolling is still taking place and multiple traffic stops, pursuits and community policing is still in effect with officers coming and going to assist.

Officers: James Hunter / Kellborn / SkyHawk / Jay Adams
Timings: 6pm-9.30pm
Date: 16/01/2012

Account:

Introducing a new player to the server and S.A.P.D, Kellborn was quickly introduced to all mannerisms of protocols and tactics that we employ from regular patrol routes, traffic stops to barricaded suspect situations. He demonstrated grand capability to adapting to his environment and learns fast - along with SkyHawk and Jay Adams we established rolling blockades to prevent speeders the freedom of access they're used to - it proved to be a great success and was a lot of fun for both parties (suspect and police) - and, hint hint, no buffaloes where involved!

Serve & Protect

Officers: James Hunter
Timings: 9.00pm - 10.30pm
Date: 18/01/2012

Account:

A regular patrol route around Los Santos was pursued this evening, with the only major hiccup being an unauthorized protest in Pershing Square, which was cleared through somewhat unceremonial methods by SAPD responders - but the crowd dispersed never the less. Few traffic incident violations where logged, generally a peaceful evening which was used to catch up on sampling donut toppings and paperwork at the office and in the squad car whilst observing civil obedience on the streets.

Officers: James Hunter, AirOrel, Roske, Divine, Pedro.Cipone, Jonny O'Sullivan, Oliver Daniels, and more.
Timings: 6.00pm-8.00pm
Date: 19/01/2012

Account:

Forming an organized response in the car park of Los Santos International Airport using teamspeak, I assumed command of seven squad cars or more to control a hostage situation that had developed at Ocean Side Docks. Blockades where erected, traffic flow diverted and communications established - everything went according to plan until one of the kidnappers where "snatched" from his post on my approval by SAPD officers.

The kidnappers where somehow informed by use of a "panic button" which in turn caused them to take off and leave the hostage, Officer Nexxt, in a severe state. Officers then flooded the scene on my go to triage the wounded man and pursue the suspects who where each detained or downed. Regular patrolling was then resumed.

I would recommend reinstating James already to at least Sgt rank immediately - so that SAPD may benefits the most this way.

He is active now and that is all that matters. We all know him, no doubt in his ability. Don't waste his talent.

Timings: 5pm-7pm
Date: 22/01/2012

Account:

Upon alerting dispatch to our 10-8 status, and after a consecutive ten minutes of regular patrol work; two black four-by-fours rocked up outside a nearby Ammunation. Maintaining a shadowing distance of roughly one block at all times, we maintained a watch on these vehicles filled with caucasian males. The vehicles met with others and it steadily grew in to a convoy, stopping at regular unusual destinations such as the storm drains where a briefcase was traded hands. The convoy was pursued until it made itself publicly known and other SAPD units intervened, at that point we disengaged following and returned to patrol patterns.

Pateintce is the one my friend even James Hunter acknowledges that. The upper command are evaluating the James on several things before they can determine what rank is best suited for him. If they did not carefull process the applicant indivdually then everyone would have been reinstated as an officer and you and i both know many would be over qualified for that kind of position.

Might take some more weeks before a deicision is reached and once James is reinstated then you can start your party or whatever Renzo.

ps: Welcome back James

This Saturday proved to be mainly uneventful, the only incident en mass response was one of those frequent code 10 reporting's, outside the city hall in Pershing Square. The response was what you'd expect, sloppy with an ill coordinated effort by our own cadets; as only a dark blue name will strike authority among them and by the time one of those showed up it was too late. Inevitably the bomb went off, with many caught in the radius of fragmentation, the medics where left to clean up the pieces whilst the traffic blockades where removed.

After signing on to patrol the grid of Los Santos for a significant two hour long duration, a 2-0-7 was reported from the San Fierro Easter Basin Airport. Responding to the incident lead to a swift cordoning of the gateway, on scene was also Officer Paul Caltson (Nexxt). A total of three police department squad cars maintained a 'no entry' policy until "SRU/SWAT" had finished up what-ever it was they intended for the situation.
The hostage was reportedly lost in an explosion and the kidnapper was apprehended purely by chance as he made a run towards the police cordon, who was then taken to SFPD for processing and questioning, and is now awaiting a county court trial on bail.

Another success story!

The police force gathered en mass, preparing weapons and armour for themselves under Sergeant Steven Cipone's lead. After a further ten minutes of stagnation and confusion around the small town, Sushi dispatched search teams throughout various directions to clarify what he could about the incident.

As it emerged none of the responding units had any idea what had happened or was indeed going on, and eventually returned to regular patrol routines. Disorganized and disorientated it would appear that the suspected kidnappers slipped the net with ease, as for the regular patrol routine - the normal came of it, speeding tickets and typical arrests for your daily repeat occurring law breakers.

Extremely standardized in what you'd expect from the city on a weekday patrol vector, around this sort of time frame. I experienced traffic violations in the abundance and most of them ended in high-speed pursuits, the normal. I'm one month beyond waiting for any type of response from relevant staff members, and maintaining patrolling here and there to what effect I can, can't say it's a tad tedious, especially when I hear more from rumors then staff themselves.

*Kzzt* "Hmm..." James attempts a different radio frequency, only to meet more radio static. *Kzzzt* "Is this piece of junk working?! SAPD Command, do you read? This is Reinstatement Application James Hunter, making contact, do you copy?!" *Kzzzt*

Just sayin', it's been a while since i've heard from you guys.

Withdrawing my application after over one month of wait time, the SAPD today is a bad joke and completely orientates around cliques, I regret holding out the slightest hope that something could of been done here, with people in positions through laughable achievements and piss poor police work and even abuse being praised and hailed - what we knew as good once is completely gone, and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about it with the comedians that are responsible for today. There are a few good officers left, but sadly they won't have an impact, swallowed up by the yawning pit that is todays team death-match server, the way rank is handed out is exactly like snakes and ladders - the snakes climb very well here.
The forums are moderated on par by favoritism and that's definitely the way reports are handled ~ if you know some one and are friends with them high-up? Don't worry about that report you got last monday, misconduct happens 24/7 - so frequently that nobody gives a damn any more, the rules are guidelines, especially when anyone not a part of SAPD need not bother follow them. There are "ranks" but they hold no meaning beyond the ability to throw their weight around as they see fit for personal gain, there's no structure to anything and certainly no coherent plan for the future of this police department.

One day you people might discover what it is to be proud as part of a well oiled team, but this? TDM with some radio codes and swearing.

Why instead of withdrawing your application don't you continue and try to change SAPD? You are the best man to do this. Give it a shot, you never know.

I appreciate the words of encouragement, but the rate this is going it'd be a miracle to be reinstated to the rank of Officer by next month ~ you hear a lot from rumors around here.

It is your choice entirely to resign withdraw, your opinions are yours and I won't remove them, however much they may provoke responses from current SAPD Members. I wish you the best of luck with what you do within Argonath, I'll lock and move this application in 2 hours, to allow anyone to convey their opinions.

With such an attitude toward SAPD, it's better for you to withdraw. How can you work in an organization you are shitting on constantly ?

Bye.

The month of keeping your application pending have showed us what we slightly expected to happen. Your intentions are good and you are an great role player and role model, but at the same time you approach the situations of changes in the wrong way..
