-1. Are cops allowed to shot with deagle running on foot unarmed suspect?
This is not allowed, unless a life is in danger, or the suspect has been ordered to stop.

-2. Are they allowed drive unmarked cars without reporting in /radio?
Units will always have to report theirselves 10-8 in the radio if they are on duty. If they don't report anything on the radio, they will have to follow the regular traffic regulations at all times.

-3. Are they allowed to drive-by two times slower car?
There is not a rule that disallows this... But question yourself, is this nessecary?

-4. Use M4, combat on suspect which is with deagle?
Yes.

-5. Carkill suspects?
No, this is actually against the server rules. Bumping someone with the car is allowed.

1. Yes we are allowed to gun down running suspects, but as soon as they stop moving we must stop firing and use non-lethal weapons such as pepper spray or the baton. We use the necessary amount of force to make them surrender. Although watch out for shooting suspects that suddenly come to a halt.

2. New procedure dictacts we use the radio, if you do not use the radio it is detrimental to your own ARPD career. Departments at times prefer representation through the use of PD cars and obviously if you are undercover officially you do not need to use your radio, that is if it effects your cover.

3. You can disable the car anyway possible, this includes shooting out their tires.

4. If officers lives are in danger you can use your weapon of your choice to defend their lives, although some officers do not like to use heavy weapons to take down suspects.

5. No you may not carkill suspects it is against the rules, although you may knock down suspects to save other officers lives.

@1: No, unless they've been warned that you will use lethal force. (/s3)

@2: According to new SAPD Rules, no. It is a must.

@3: Yes. Whether or not you want to gun down the car till it sets ablaze or just to disable the wheels is your call.

@4: There are no Official rules on this one. Preference is the key.

@5: No. That's part of Server rules. Although I like to "bump" suspects whenever I see fit, mostly as an entrance to a foot pursuit.

It's interesting to read all "answers" and see them being different..

-1. Are cops allowed to shot with deagle running on foot unarmed suspect?

-2. Are they allowed drive unmarked cars without reporting in /radio?

-3. Are they allowed to drive-by two times slower car?

-4. Use M4, combat on suspect which is with deagle?

-5. Carkill suspects?

1. Cops may open fire at a suspect who is running on foot but always give suspects a chance to surrender before attacking them.

2. Cops are allowed to drive unmarked cars.

3. Cops may (as passanger) shoot at any car from an other car what so ever type or speed, but also here always give suspects a chance to surrender before attacking them.

4. You may use any weapon type on an suspect that has an deagle.

5. Server rules state clearly that "Carkilling" is NOT allowed. However you may punch the suspect with the car in attempt to stop him but not so he die by the punch.

As of today the rules have changed.

1. Still yes, but remember to give them a chance to surrender first.

2. No, SAPD members are supposed to drive cruisers now.

3. If a car is slower than yours, you should not shoot their vehicle unless they are shooting back.

4. SAPD Officers are to use regulation deagle, shotgun and SMG.

5. As usual you may ram suspects onto the ground but not carkill them and only ONCE.

Just about to say that, as Ronnel has stated; the regulations stated by Chief Hank are not in action currently.

The regulations will be re-issued tomorrow. We expect to create a set that will allow SAPD and SWAT to be desireable groups, while at the same time keeping a more professional attitude as non-trained officers.
