Well, Chief Nicholas Angel said that all applications will be accepted as soon as all cadets in training have passed, and become ARPD officers.  So, just be patient, like most of us here.

how many cadets are there? and when will they be tested? cuz im so anxious to become a member of SAPD

Not many but this training also has issues in relation to the availability of the trainers.

Be aware that all those that apply for ARPD are under observation by some members of ARPD from the start.  Do teh job to the best of your ability, within ARPD and Argo rules andit will help when the offical training takes place and will hopefully lead you to officer status.

Well, when you're a free cop, you are a cadet, and when you're accepted and undergo training, you are a cadet.    When you pass training, you will become an officer.

Application has been re-filed under CADET

You will be observed during your time on duty on occasions unofficially to attain suitability to become an officer (it is unlikely you will be aware of some of  this as we use cover names too!).

Learn the regulations and carry out cop work to the best of your ability in the meantime.  This will give you the experience to make it into ARPD and will also give you a chance to really see if its what you want.

You are NOW a Police Cadet and are expected to work in a manner to show respect to both the general public, other SAPD members and Federal services.

We will contact you when we see fit regarding training and testing and, AND pestering officers may delay this.
Remember we will contact you, not the other way round.
