The Roadblock
« on: December 15, 2007, 18:37:42 pm »
One of the very few occasions when different DP's work together, its been described elsewhere but here's a few pictures..  This was the better of the 2 as I we took our time and didnt rush it..  it was a spur of the moment decision made over teamspeak..

Even time for food..

I don't think Hayden expected it!!

It woked mainly becuase a number of police units where present on Ts and almost all comms was carried out over the TS system.  It also helped that we knew from communications intercept that the race was taking place.  We also had kept this set up realtively low key with no rush, the units worked well to obtain the 4x4's from Dillmore, and then taking time to set up and wait for the start of the illegal race.

We did try to carry this out again but had the dissadvantage of the method already known and the racers knew too so we could not hope to have the same affect.  Time was also against us as we this time had to setup as quick as possible, and 'crashes' did not help with a number of units having to return back to pd as the system at the time meant losing cop rights on return.

As I say a bit of time and advance knowledge can allow this to happen in the future, along with willingness to wait..
