Un-Official Academy - To help cadets
« on: August 15, 2008, 22:27:00 pm »
Un-Official Academy

Due to lack of interest our officers to teach cadets, i made un-official ARPD Academy.
Officers can apply as teachers, and in the same - they accept that they will lose free-time ingame to teach others, and help them.

Also cadets can apply - in the same they decide that they want a couple of trainings, from another teachers.

Our accepted cadets dont need any other officers, who maybe dont want to train others, because there will be all needed teachers in our training group.

Example:
Cadet A - Training in Monday with Teacher X
Cadet B - Training in Monday with Teacher Y
Cadet C - Training in Monday with Teacher Z
Cadet A - Training in Tuesday with Teacher Y
Cadet B - Training in Tuesday with Teacher Z
Cadet C - Training in Tuesday with Teacher X
etc...

All our teachers will use same Training Report, so they will be recognised as our academy members.

- Why I made it?
a) I heard many times on radio ingame: "Any officer can train cadet?" and noone replied..
b) There is many cadets, who are waiting for promotion for a long time.. we want to help them..
c) CMT is not active anymore.. So there is no more Academy...
d) I want to make our cadets better officers...

- What unusual will be in this un-official Academy?
It will not be another group / subdivision... It will be just place where you can apply for training, without asking or begging anyone..
Officers will post their report in Cadet ARPD Application, and in their (teachers) topic at our Academy forums.
It will be easy to check - how many trainings did each cadet, and how many cadets teached Officer.

- Where can i apply?
Currently we will use my space on av-clan server: www.flameman.av-clan.com/arpd/   (you have to register to view forum).
But i hope we can get some space on argonathrpg.com from government.

- What will you earn as accepted Academy member:
a) Teacher - you will get access to Training Reports part.
b) Cadet - you will get access to usefull stuff to learn / train such as: all rules, duty regulation, police and civilant laws. All of it in one place!

// maybe ill add something later, when there will be any questions... are there any? //

Signed,
Senior Officer Robert Longstreet

its a shame but CMT is inactive,
thats exactly the same,
maybe you can run CMT instead of bueto, and we make CMT running again,

but its good to have it,
but i never see anything like can officer train me on radio,
never saw that since long time,
but most of the time they do /pm with can i join you,
then if i am not busy they can come do normal work with me

thats not exactly the same.. i dont want to play in: "Chief of training", "Sergeant of training" etc like in CMT..
it will be just board when you can leave your report to remember which cadets you trained, and who of them is promoted now...

i also made 22 site of guide, which CMT didnt...
no offence, but i think its not the same :)

Look.. i just want to help cadets.. is that wrong?
I know on myself than nobody wanted to train me.. i had to beg every officer i met...  Thats not the point of training right?
I dont want to make anybody to train cadets... I want to do it, and i am looking for people who want to train them too...

Its a nice idea, but useless from now. Every rank has his own role. The officers are not allowed
anymore to report 10 7 because of training. If an officer really wana help and teach a cadet, he/she
must do it while patroling, but they must answer to every call like as normall patrol.

There will be possibilty to apply to be official SAPD trainer, which goes with promotion from officer rank.
The sergeants are the real workers in SAPD.

Currently the Captains doing the trainings. (their role wont changed, just will be easier with the new trainers)

since Argo is official again, we got lots of newb cops,
who request any help with it,

personally i have helped those new cops who are willing to learn,
if they really show interest to learn, then you can see they really wanna make a good cop,
so i help them,
show them pull overs, learn them commands, the basics

so if i got time i also respond to someone requesting training,
then i do train him, but ready to respond to calls
