I believe that this is not for a report. I'm sure that it was a dept. rule. If I'm wrong, please provide the proof.

Howdy,

I'm Lieutenant Sangelo and I will be handling this report. I am not currently home so I will look into this upon my return.

To be clear, you are:

1) Reporting Travis because he was participating within an event? If so, that's not a regulation or policy within the ARPD or SAPD.
2) Reporting Travis because he ignored emergency calls during the participation of the event he was in? Elaborate.

Pick one.

I saw him that was participating in a event on duty and i remember that my Ex Sergeant ( now Lieutenant) told us that we are not allowed to go in events on duty. But i probably got misunderstood cause he probably meant about my Ex-Department.I'm really sorry about making this report.

Requesting to close the case.
Thanks and Regards

  • No gambling, participating on events on duty. Do not participate on events that may disturb your time on duty, If you are on duty then you are supposed to do your work, not to have fun with the badge on your shirt.
This is not an SAPD rule, rather a local PD rule set in place through command before me. No action will be taken however I will talk with Travis regarding this situation.
