SAPD Interview Request: Bruce Olsen

Do you have any previous names?
Alex Brooks, Bruce McCollin, [GSF]Jasper Williams

What is your current timezone?
GMT+1

Are you able to follow the chain of command and take orders from superiors when required?
Yes I am.

Do you agree to follow SAPD Rules and Regulations and the Argonath Constitution?
Yes I do.

What are your greatest strengths and weaknesses?
I have good driving skills. My relations with citizens are good. I am respectful and friendly with people.
My weakness is usage of lethal force with a Desert Eagle weapon, but I practice it a bit and i'm better with it, but still not good enough. Some practice would be really helpful.

Why do you wish to continue progressing in the SAPD?
Well, being a police officer was a big dream for me. I used to be a police officer 1 year ago but I started having some attitude problems. Now I want to join back in the police because I feel myself calm and I am ready to go back on duty. I also have good experience on police duty and I think that is a good thing.

Do you have any specific skills and/or previous experience with law enforcement?
My specific skills, I would say driving. I was SAPD officer back in April-May 2012, and I was SAPD probationary officer in August 2014.

How would you handle an irate citizen?
I will start to talk with him calmly and will try to calm him down. After that I will tell him to sit somewhere safe like: Inside the police cruiser, In a bench if there is one near or in a safe sidewalk where he Is safe from getting hit by any vehicle. After that I would ask him what is the reason of him being irate. After that if the citizen will be calm I will ask him if he needs a ride to somewhere safe and than I would go back on duty.

Have you been in an emergency situation where you provided assistance to other agencies or civilians? Tell us how.
Well I remember one day I was patrolling with another officer and we got a call on Emergency radio from Fire Department and they asked for assistance from Police Department. We were 3 units available but my unit responded because we were close to the scene. When we arrived there we spoke to the fire department and they said that they needed us to block the road due to the fire heading towards the road. We successfully blocked the road for 30 minutes and after that Fire Department said that we were free to go.

Anything else you wish to let us know before your interview?
I don't think I have anything else to add.

Signed,
Bruce Olsen

Sorry about this, I'm withdrawing the application. Decided to go for FBI.
