PROCEDURES


PROCEDURE UPDATE LOGS
Update 19/01/2018: Updated point 15 & 29 and various other points, updated vehicle changes and to suit T4 client needs.

Update 20/05/2023: Updated Removal Exception to equip of CIU Member as this Sub-division no longer exists.





Notice: Annihilator / Buzzard minigun usage is NOT allowed until further notice, do not use it under any circumstances - Using it will result in punishment from server leadership and TRU Command Staff!




1. TRU Operative is allowed to use firearm/open gunfire:

1.   When LCPD/FBI unit were on crime scene before TRU and they made an unsuccessful try to arrest suspect. (In such situations TRU is not obliged to ask for surrendering or alert/inform/warn the suspect)
2.   When suspect refuses to surrender. (Not answering is judged as refusal)
3.   When the suspect is trying to evade.
4.   When someone's life is in direct danger (Operative(s), hostage(s), civilian(s)), the TRU Operative is allowed to open fire without any warning.


2. TRU Operative is NOT allowed to use firearm/open gunfire:

1.   When the suspect surrenders regardless the situation. (In situations like I.1. when TRU Operative is not obligated to warn)
        Exception: Can be made in situations like I.1. Surrendered suspect can be killed only in tend operations in the chaos which can cost others life. This type of killing is unintentional.
2.   When the suspect is Away From Keyboard (AFK). (In such situation the suspect must be reported because of preventing LCPD/N.O.O.S.E/FBI work)
3.   When the suspect is /gu and cuffed. (If suspect is /gu and still shoots, they must be reported to administration)


3. TRU Operative is allowed to use all available weapons in-game.


4. TRU Operative is allowed to use TRU Cruiser, Patriot, Stockade, Annihilator, Maverick, APC, Buzzard:

1.   Only when the Operative is on TRU duty.
2.   When TRU Operatives must be transported to crime scene, training facility or The Killing House.


5. TRU Operative is allowed to use TRU High Speed Police Stinger ONLY when:

1.   Operatives are on TRU duty.
Exception: Operatives can respond on regular LCPD duty if there is no time to get into gear.

2.   TRU Operatives are called in by (LCPD/FBI) to help with a high speed chase.

3.     For training usage.

4.     Meets the Vehicle Database Listing and not to be used on any other vehicle not listed.


6. TRU Operative is NOT allowed to use TRU Cruiser, Patriot, Stockade, Annihilator, Maverick, Buzzard, APC:

1.   When the Operative is off TRU duty (as a regular LCPD).
        Exception: When there is critical situation or the Operative is in rush to the crime scene.
2.   When used for personal use (eg. hanging around the streets)


7. TRU Operative is NOT allowed to use TRU Annihilator / Buzzard machine guns under any circumstances.


8. TRU Operative is allowed to use TRU gear/uniform ONLY when:

1.   The Operative is on special operations, stated as potentially dangerous. (situation that requires TRU Operatives)
2.   The Operative is taking part in training sessions or armoured patrols.
3.   The Operative is taking part in a regular TRU patrol (2 operatives+ only)


9. TRU Operative is allowed to cross, search or raid private properties without warrant:

1.   When the owner or tenant is stated as criminal. (eg. wanted)


10. TRU Operative is NOT allowed to cross, search or raid private properties without warrant:

1.   When the owner or tenant is NOT stated as criminal. (eg. not wanted)
2.   When the reason is personal.


11. TRU Operative is allowed to ram with a car ONLY when.

1.   The target is suspected or committed a crime and refuses to stop on command.


12. TRU Operative is NOT allowed to carkill, helikill or heliram regardless the situation!
Abuse will result in severe punishments.


13. TRU Operative is allowed to confiscate a vehicle (state/bought):

1.     When the owner/driver gives permission for it.
2.     When the owner/driver is not in the car. (The Operative should inform the owner/driver before confiscation. Exception: critical situations.)
3.     When the duty vehicle (or any other) is destroyed or empty fuel. Lack of transport. (10-5)


14. TRU Operative is NOT allowed to confiscate vehicle (state/private):

1.     When the owner/driver refuses to give the vehicle. (regardless the driver in or out of the vehicle)
2.     When the confiscated car will be used for personal purposes.


15. TRU Operative is allowed to use their own/state/other vehicle while on duty ONLY:
NOTE: TRU Operative can use this option ONLY if the Annihilator / Buzzard or TRU Police Stinger, Cruiser is not available.
Abuse will result in severe punishments.

1.     In critical situations when there is no other duty vehicle.
2.     When duty vehicle is destroyed or empty fuel (10-5).
3.     When there is no other duty vehicle near the Operative.
4.     When suspect's vehicle is faster than normal duty standard cars (Vapid, Patriot) and TRU Police Stinger is not available. (eg. pursuits, or critical situations with permission from Sergeant+)
5.     For transporting VIP/s & fugitive/s.


16. TRU Operative is allowed to suspect:

1.    When a person commits a crime in front of the TRU Operative. (e.g: entering unauthorised area, shooting in public)
2.    Based on Operative judgement even the target/criminal did not commit a crime. (Because of previous criminal experience with the criminal/suspect when the life of the Operative/s IS / ARE / WILL BE in direct risk.)
3.    For role playing reasons. (eg. Kidnapping, Drug dealing, Bomb planting; both sides must confirm)


17. TRU Operative is NOT allowed to use "Helicopter rotor flip" technique regardless the situation.


18. TRU Operative and above are allowed to use the Annihilator ONLY:

1.     When regular Maverick / Buzzard cannot perform task correctly, or unavailable. (eg. suspect vehicle too fast)
2.     Under proper judgement and common sense. (abuse of Annihilator / Buzzard will result in severe punishments)


19. TRU Operative is allowed to use the Stockade ONLY:

1.     On special operations.
2.     For transporting Operatives. (eg. training)
3.     For transporting fugitive/s & VIP/s.


20. TRU Operative is allowed to patrol anywhere anytime (2 operatives+ only).
        Vehicle usage permissions: Cruiser (Operative+), Police Stinger - Chasing purposes only (Operative+), Patriot (Sergeant+), Stockade (Lieutenant+).


21. TRU Operative is allowed to respond on regular crimes ONLY:

1.     When the Operative is the only representative of LCPD (on LCPD duty).
2.     When the Operative is patrolling like regular LCPD member (on LCPD duty; not engaged with special task/operation).
        Exception: When the suspect is heavily armed and dangerous, or high profile (dark orange), or when regular law enforcement agencies are unable to arrest the suspect and require backup from available TRU Operatives.


22. TRU Operative is allowed to go on TRU duty at all times.


23. TRU Operative is allowed to use gunfire on suspects while their off duty without consequences:
The Operative will be un-suspected afterwards.

1.     When their not able to go to police department.
        Examples: When the Operative is involved or should react in crime in action.
2.     For self or other life defence.


24. TRU Operative is NOT allowed to use gunfire on suspects while off duty:

1.     When the Operative has the time or is able to go to police department.


25. TRU Operative is allowed to use gunfire on civilian ONLY when a civilian just committed major crime and no time to suspect/under heavy fire.


26. TRU Operative is allowed to use /equip ONLY on TRU duty.

1.     /equip cannot be used on normal LCPD duty under any circumstances.
2.     /equip can be used to equip ONLY TRU Operatives during any operation. (eg. training, RP situation)

3.     After switching from TRU duty to LCPD duty, make sure to type /duty INSTEAD of /nextmodel, to get rid of equipped weapons on TRU duty.
Abuse of this command is not tolerable and will result in severe punishments.

27. TRU Operative is allowed to use the K-9 Unit when:

1. A TRU Operative is on patrol only using the Patriot & wearing (Yellow) Camouflage Uniform, while in a Roleplay event (Traffic Checkpoint, Standard Patrol).


28. TRU Operative is NOT allowed to use TRU vehicles (Annihilator, Buzzard, Maverick, Vapid, Patriot, Stockade, APC, Police Stinger) in events.


29. Armoured patrols are to be organised by TRU Sergeant+.
