Agreed. Those who retire, but don't get fired or go inactive, should receive the rank, though. Failure to report your activity or being fired should be otherwise stripped of their rank since it's their fault in the first place.

I honestly agree this should be done
Ex- SAPD Senior Officer
Ex- SAPD UC Handler
Ex- VCPD Captain
