With permission of the ARPD command staff we have added some commercial banners to the forum.
If there are any ads that are obtrusive please let us know, apart from banners there should not appear anything.

when posting a problem, try to make a screenshot and tell which country you are from, as certain problematic ads are not shown to all users.

Arghh i kinda hate these ads, they load up my page slower and it laggs..
Altho - Questions is: What's the use of them anyway..?

They earn more money with these advertisements.
EDIT: The ads appear like this or they should as banners? Estonia is my location, if it is needed.

The ads at the end of posts seem a bit excessive, and the top banner ad is insanely large and out of place. Ronnel, might I suggest cleaning them up a bit? I know you guys need the clicks, but users are going to end up ignoring the ads if they get too annoyed by them.

I don't see any top banner ad. Might be due to my AdBlock Plus.

I don't see any top banner ad. Might be due to my AdBlock Plus.

More than likely. These ads are slowing down the page loading as well.

Ronnel, maybe less flashy ads similar to Google ads centered at the top and bottom of the pages, but not at the very top or very bottom of the screen, similar to how most sites do it?

seems this setting is made to everyone no matter where you live after reading some more regarding this subject.

For some reason this page insanely lags up my iPod Touch

What is so special about this compared to the normal Argonath forums that causes it to lag?

While they might be "meh" to see around, I think it is an important source of funding for Argonath.

But I think the ads. at the bottom of topics that appear in the form of posts are a little annoying. They seem to have bumped up one or two topics as well.

Let's see if we get used to them.
