Revealing undercover rights
« on: April 13, 2011, 22:21:23 pm »
Hey all,

I found this kind of interesting, as I had my name revealed while I was on undercover duty. I won't say any names, as it is over now, but it is still worth thinking about.
The following topic:
http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=68627.0;topicseen

Kirby banned for death-matching and revealing an UC identity. I had never heard of a rule saying this was not allowed, or I would have made an issue about it when it happened to me.
I still doubt it is actually a rule, but the topic was still interesting to me.

Out of interest, what do the Command Staff do when an SAPD Member reveals a UC Member's identity?

If the user who does it is into SAPD he can be actually punished for leaking classified information.
Also just to clear it: Members without UC rights won't be able to see if you have UC rights with the /rank command (it will show "Player has Normal rights when on duty" to them) even if you have UC rights, only people with uc rights or Captain+ can see who has them.

I am aware of that but thank you for making the point :)
