To run or not to run, that is the question
« on: September 16, 2011, 20:09:47 pm »
I did a poll IG today on whether to run or pull over for the cops.

Reasons to pull over:
  • To not be in trouble/Avoid future problems
  • RP
    Fun

Reasons to NOT pull over:
  • Afraid of abuse
  • RP
    Waste of time
    More fun
    Nothing to lose

So, what can we do, as the SAPD to improve traffic stops?

Knucklehead wants to take your gun, so if it's you or some 300-pound naked guy on PCP, you take his ass down any way you can - you ride with me, you back your badge.

More roleplaying. Not the typical.

When I am off duty I love roleplaying traffic stops. It's fun. If I get abused.

Let's not forget the fact that not everyone has specialized English vocabulary and in some cases simple words do make sense and are okay to roleplay with.

I love traffic stops, they are an integral part of an officers life.

It just makes me cringe when what would of been a 30 second traffic stop ends in a 30 minute argument involving admins and a lot of flaming from someone we don't know.

Just because they didn't want to pullover and talk for 30 seconds :\

Slow is smooth, smooth is fast and fast is lethal.

I agree with you, Sushi. Some people in Argo hate traffic stops because they think they are being abused and etc...

We are here to RP, not to play cops & Robbers, but Mafia and civilians both dont realise it, and think that is better to just run away and get /su'd for fun.
Remember, you are a police officer, not a douche with a shiny badge. Protect and serve, not kill and suspect.
